"How about we head back to the sand?" Gaara asked.  I nodded and we stood up and left.  As we jumped through the trees and awkward silence fell upon us.  We made no eye contact, keeping our eyes looking everywhere, but where the other was in case someone was still following us.  After along time of jumping we reached the sand village.  We walked through town to the Kazekage's office, where he sat down behind his desk and I leaned against the wall in my usual spot.  Gaara opened his mouth to say something, but then Konkuro and Temari burst into the room.  "Where the heck did you go?" Temari asked rather loudly.  "I went after Ying" he stated calmly.  "You can't just up and run, your the Kazekage!  And you could have sent other shinobi after her" Konkuro yelled.  "I knew she wouldn't give in to just any shinobi.  She probably would have either killed them or pummeled them until they were unconscious" he said.  I raised one eye brow at his analysis of me, although it was true.  "How could he have gotten all of that by the month or two that I've been in this village.  He's been in his office most of the day, so how could he analyze me?"  I thought.  His siblings continued to yell at him for leaving and not taking him.  I let my head fall forward and I closed my eyes resting.

I felt someone shake me and I looked up to see a concerned Gaara.  "The suns about to set" he said leaving the office.  I took his hint and walked to my room and took off my shoes and climbed up onto the roof.  I sat down in my usual spot and waited watching the sunset.  I heard Gaara climb up onto the roof and sit down next to me.  We sat in silence looking at the stars, not saying a word.  "Why did you leave?" He asked breaking the silence.  I looked down at my hands.  "I thought you were only keeping me alive to use as a weapon or you were just going to have someone assassinate me, so that way if it failed you could say that someone had broken in and were looking for a hostage" I said looking away from Gaara completely.  I then felt his arms wrap around me.  "Why would I do that?  You're a jinchuriki and so am I.  So it would be like killing one of my own" Gaara said softly.  I sighed knowing he was right and hugged him back.  "I have to find a way to pay him back for all he has done" I thought.  "Alright come on" I said standing up.  He gave me questioning look.  "I figured out how to repay you" I said smiling.  He nodded and stood up.  I grabbed his arm and dragged him down to my room, pushing onto my bed.

"What are you doing?" he asked worriedly.  "I'm going to repay you by helping you sleep" I said.  "How are you going to do that last time it didn't work so what makes you think its going to work this time?" he asked.  "Well last time my mind was jumping from place to place, thinking about lots of different thing and trying to remember my past, but now my mind is calm and more settled" I explained.  "I still don't get how you going to do it, but promise me that if I do lose control you'll stop me" he said looking down.  "Don't worry this time you won't" I said sitting on the bed beside him.  "But what if-" He started.  "No!  No buts.  Just lie down and go to sleep" I said interrupting him.  He sighed and lay back him head relaxing on my legs.  He closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.  "He looks so peaceful while he sleeps.  I'm glade he bought what I had said about it being my fault.  I didn't want him to know that it was because he let fear take control of him, but this time he seems much more relaxed and has less fear" I thought smiling at his sleeping form.  I looked out the window and leaned my head against it, looking at the stars getting myself ready for another sleepless night.
