Chapter 56 - The Girl in the Purple

Deidara took off toward the shinobi looking for back up. Meanwhile I had to deal with the other shinobi. There were seven shinobi in front of me Naruto, Kakashi, the boy in the green jumpsuit, the girl in the purple crop top, one boy with short black hair riding a large dog, another girl with long black hair and a boy wearing glasses and a hood. I decided to go with a water style attack to target all of them. Luckily they could barley read my hand signs so none of them knew what was coming and only Kakashi was able to dodge. Then once they were mostly all soaked I use a lightning style shock wave to temporarily demobilize the six who five who were still in range. After my water style attack the one girl with black hair managed to jump away before I shocked all of there comrades. I looked over to where Zetsu was fighting a moment ago and noticed his body was torn to pieces and scattered all over the place. Zetsu was gone.

"Don't worry they'll be fine, there just temporarily stunned." I told the two shinobi in front of me. "Now if you don't mind I must get going."

"Hold up unfortunately we know what your after and we cant let you have it!" Kakashi called to me,

"Don't worry I'm not after the tree tails, in fact now that Zetsu is dead I'm off the hook." I told them walking away to catch up with Deidara.

"What do mean by that?" Kakashi questioned.

"I mean I've been planing to leave for quite some time now, but with Zetsu following me I couldn't." I informed him. "Now I really must be going. Chow!"

With that I leaped into the tree's and went on a full out sprint to catch up with Deidara. I'm faster than Deidara so I caught up with him sooner than expected.

"Deidara!" I called. He looked behind him and stopped on a tree just ahead of me.

"Whats up Yang? You get them all?" Deidara asked.

"Well sorta, umm well how do I say this." I said rubbing the back of my head.

"Yang," Deidara said grabbing my shoulders,"you can tell me, so just say it okay?"

"Okay, I'm leaving the Akatsuki, like today, now." I said looking at my feet. To my surprise Deidara pulled me into a hug.

"That's fine by me, I never really liked it anyway." Deidara said. "Lets get our stuff and get out of here okay?" We jumped down to ground level and headed back to our cave. When we got back to the cave, most of the leaf ninja were starting to recover from the shock I had given them. We decided to move quickly to avoid unwanted attention. After retrieving our gear we headed back to the lake. Once we arrived we took off out Akatsuki cloches and rings and let them drift off into the lake.

"Well were should we go now?" I asked.

"Well I say we just go wherever the day takes us." Deidara replied.

"Very poetic, I like that Idea." I said smiling. We walked for a few hours before stumbling across a large river. The river seemed to stretch on for miles and the land beside it was full of fruits and good places to set up tents and what not.

"This seems like a good place to camp for now." I said looking around.

"Great I'll set camp and you should go wash up, no offense but you kinda smell." Deidara teased. i playfully punched his arm before heading over to the river.

"No peeking!" I called to him.

"Wouldn't dream of it." He called back. Once I reached the river bank I washed up my cloths a bit then set them on a near by rock while I washed up. I sat in the river humming a song that I had heard a long time ago. I was about to get out when I heard a splash In the water behind me. I went to turn around to see what it was when I felt two hands wrap around my waist. I looked behind me to see Deidara standing there with his arms around me, and we were both completely naked. I felt my face growing redder by the second.

"I didn't mean to startle you." Deidara whispered in my ear.

"I said no peeking!" I yelled as I pushed Deidara away and covered myself.

"Well I didn't think this counted as peeking." Deidara said teasingly. I looked at him for a moment with anger, but that quickly faded and a smile replaced my scowl.

"Besides I need to wash up too you know." Deidara said submerging himself deeper into the water. When he came back up I splashed him teasingly.

"Hey!" He yelled. I simply grinned and splashed him again.

"Oh you're on." Deidara said as he started to splash me. The splash war continued for a few minutes before he got behind me and lifted me up my my waist and fell backwards bringing us both under water. When he let go of me I stood up above water to catch my breath for a second. Then before I knew it Deidara had moved in front of me and had one hand on the small of my back pulling me closer to him. He tilted my head up to face him, he wiped away the hair from my face before leaning down and planting his lips on mine.
