Chapter 37 - The Girl In Blue

As we watched the stars come out I looked down at Gaara who was still wide eyed.  "Your supposed to be going to sleep" I said.  He looked up at me and sighed.  "I can't go to sleep.  I still have the fear of the Sukaku" He said sitting up.  "Well don't worry about it, I'm here" I said putting a hand on Gaara's shoulder.  He looked over his shoulder at me and lay back down, he closed his eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.  I sat by his side and watched the stars.  I soon heard the sound of sand moving.  I looked over at Gaara and saw the Sukaku starting to form. I quickly did some hand signs and held out my hand at Gaara.  The sand slowed down, but didn't stop.  It continued to form the Sukaku, soon half of Gaara's boddy had become the Sukaku.  The Sukaku hit me, sending me flying into a tree.  It came over and picked me up holding me against the tree.  "G..Gaara" I tried to say, but it came out rather weak.  "G..Gaara, please...Stop"  I said much stronger this time.  "If you d..don't get a hold of your..self then I'll have to fight...back" I said trying my hardest to get my self free.  Gaara dropped me and I could see him fighting back the Sukaku, but I could also see blood coming out from the sand.  Soon all the sand fell off and Gaara collapsed.  "Gaara!"I yelled running over to him.  "If I don't try then he'll die" I thought.  'Do it' I heard my tailed beast say.  I nodded and put my hands over top of Gaara.  He started to open his eyes and was about to try to talk, when I shook my head no.  I started to heal him with my chakra, but it was hard and it often toke a lot out of me.  "Come on Ying you can do this.  You had spent a month training on this.  It just take focus and chakra.  Focus on the wound closing and the blood stopping, the heart starting to beat at a normal pace" I thought.  Slowly Gaara's wounds closed and the pain was stopped.  I stood up and started to walk to the tree that I had been thrown against so I could rest, but halfway there I couldn't feel my legs anymore and fell down.  I rolled over onto my back and my breathing started to get faster and heavier.  "Ying, are you alright?" I heard Gaara ask, but I couldn't reply.  I heard him moving and soon saw him in my vision.  Slowly the world around was turning black.  The last thing I saw was Gaara and I gave him a slight smile, then the world went black.  

Gaara's P.O.V

Ying gave me a small smile and the her face relaxed.  "She must be exhausted" I thought.  I picked her up and put her on my back.  Even though I was still quite worn out from the Sukaku, I walked back to the village and to the place we were staying.  I placed Ying down on the couch and looked around.  "Temari and Konkuro must have gone out to continue exploring" I thought.  I sat down on the floor in front of the couch and looked out the window, waiting for Ying to wake up.  

Ying's P.O.V

I woke up and looked around.  I saw Gaara sitting on the floor looking out the window.  "I'm back in the apartment" I thought.  I sat up and Gaara looked over at me.  "Thank you for healing me" he said looking out the window again.  "Don't worry about it.  I've been wanting to use that jutsu for a while now" I said plainly looking out the window.  "I didn't hurt you, did I?" I asked looking over at me.  "No" I said smiling at him, a look of relief washed over his face.  "We ll how about we go do something" I said swinging my legs off the couch.  He looked at me and nodded.  I slowly stood and we walked over to the door.  We left the apartment and headed into the town square.  Gaara suggested we get food, I nodded in agreement.  Gaara walked up to a fruit stand to go get I food and I walked over to a metal work stand.  "What are you making?" I asked curiously.  "I'm making a flower" the blacksmith said.  I watched him for a while before realizing that it was taking Gaara a while to get the food.  I walked back over to where I had been before and looked over in the direction of the stand, to see a girl getting close to Gaara.  "Whats he doing?" I thought.  'he seems  to be finding a mate' I heard my tailed beast say.  "hey by the way whats you name? I did the jutsu and it worked"  I mentally asked her, I heard her sigh.  'My name is Orrmar' She said.  "I like it! Orrmar the twelve tailed dragon" I thought.  I opened my eyes and looked back over at Gaara, who had just realized that I was back.  I couldn't tell what he was saying, but whatever he said made her mad.  She sent me death glares as Gaara walked over me me.  "What was that all about?" I asked taking a bite of my apple.  "I don't know really.  Something about me being kazekage and love at first sight" he replied.  I laughed at him quietly and he looked over at me confused.  "Oh its nothing" I said still laughing.  We walked into a forest and found and opening and sat down.  "You know today was pretty fun, if you take out the part with the Shukaku" I said teasing him.  He looked down looking upset.  "Hey Gaara I was wondering, has anyone ever teased you before?" I asked.  He shock his head no.  I walked over to him and laughed "Well that's what I was just doing" I said sitting across from him.
