Meiji Jingu 11:51pm
"I thought it would be the two of us having a romantic walk on a night like this...And couldn't you leave us alone Yumi?" said Silk walking on my left.
"I can't trust either of you, especially you. Who knows what you are going to steal besides the relic." Said Yumi who walked on my right side.
"Maybe...and maybe not." Silk smiled.
"For everything you do outside the objective, I will cut of a finger of yours. And same goes for you Ling."
When she said that my heart dropped a cold sweat.
"Scary." Silk took my left arm, but I pushed her away.
"I would rather defy God than defy you." I said to Yumi.
"Then God condemn this man to death already." Yumi muttered in a careless tone.
"No need to be serious." I swatted invisible flies in the air.
"So about earlier this afternoon Ling..." Silk asked.
"What about it?" I replied.
"When you mentioned spirits do you mean that ghosts actually exist?" Silk asked. Women, equal problems that my equation has been confirmed now. But I felt like if I didn't answer her question things would only get more annoying for me.
"There was a 3rd party, they had posted men everywhere to spy on us and possibly trace us. And back there if we tried to go for the Relic it would seem to suspicious, and I know you are a loud mouth so I shut you up so you won't be able to give away the precise location of the relic."
"Oh, what about the second one?"
"Spiritual subjects are the often most vague and complicated ones. There really is no absolute right or wrong saying, and most of them were based on assumptions and extremely vague evidence that leads to more mysteries. My own personally thoughts on this is that the spiritual world does exits and is unexplainable by science or logic. If they do exists I prefer it to stay out of life, since things are too complicated already..." before I could finish my sentence Yumi stopped me in my steps by holding her left arm up and at the same time Silk grabbed me by the arm and pulled me back a step with surprising force.
"I know this place like the back of my hand. I remember every stone floor pattern in this place, and this one wasn't facing the right direction. Silk how did you figure out something was wrong?" Yumi asked. I finally noticed that one of the stones in front of me was higher than the others
"Well, I scanned the place carefully once and realized this stone floor is slightly higher than all the rest of the stone plates, and judging from this height I would say it's most likely hiding a land mine under it."
"Absurd, I don't believe it." Yumi said.
"If you don't believe what I said you can go ahead and step on it." Silk dared. Which was followed by awkward silence.
"Silk." I said.
"What is Cheri dear?" She clasped her hand together.
"Since you have better observation skill than me, I am begining to suspect that all those things you said back there was just to get near me, am I correct?"
"Why, they came from my own true heart."
"Yes, yes, still trying to steal my heart."
"That because you stole mine!" she protested.
