By the time we finally got back to camp, the sky was pitch black. There was neat camp fire set up and food was piled in the 'salad bowl'. Yumi offered to keep an eye on Stainless Steel and let Silk rest for a bit. But Charlotte was nowhere to be seen. Then all of a sudden a voice form the jungle called out:

"Ling!" Charlotte emerged with hugging something towards her chest.

"What have you got there?" I asked.

"A basket!" she held the object in my view. The basket was about the size of my hand but it took both of Charlotte hands to cup it. The basket was made of twigs and it was surprisingly held together. Perhaps she could be some use after all.

"For once you did something useful."

"Thanks! Wait...what do you mean doing something useful for once?"

"Oh, please madam. I am sure you've done a lot more useful things."

"Don't call me madam! I am Lady Charlotte Marina Aquitaine Acott! And I demand you to pronounce my title properly."

"Alright, my lady...would you like me to give you a new title?"

"No!" Charlotte exclaimed.

"Alright your new title is going to be Ms. Fancy Pants?"

"NO!" she complained even louder.

"Well you still haven't put away that ridiculous dress of yours...." Woops, I probably went too far there. Her cheeks were becoming .

"Ok, I meant fancy alright! I mean it's cute!" Charlotte froze, and I just realized what I said. Our faces took on a rosy glow. Charlotte's seemed to light the camp.

"Well, let's just..." I turned around, trying to avoid eye contact and I was frantically scratching my head.

"Say it again." Charlotte said with a small voice.

"What?"

"NEVER MIND FORGET ABOUT IT YOU MORON!" She stomped away. All I could do was watch her leave.

"That was kind of interesting." Silk said. She was sitting on a branch of a high tree.

"You know it's a bad habit to pry into other people's private business right?"

"Are you saying this to a master thief?"

"I suppose I am the one making no sense now." to turn around and leave.

"Making sense? As in logic?" Silk asked. A thud sounded beside me.

"Logic eh...I don't know. Things going on in my life right now doesn't even make any sense. I guess I got nothing to compare to logic."

"But whatever happens, you will always have me." She smiled giving herself an opportunity to hook my arm in hers.

"I am very glad to hear that, my friend." I said as I carefully unhooked my arm.

"Friend!..." Silk said a with a heart aching voice and stepped back in shock really dramatically. And begin to cry, real tears. Darn, she was a good actor. I thought.

"Silk tears won't work with me here. Though I have to admit you can defiantly make it through the auditions for soap operas."

"Really?" She stopped acting and resumed her normal voice again.
