"The sun is going to set pretty soon and it's going to get cold. We should make a fire." I said and somehow Stainless Steel managed to get the fruit out of his mouth.

"Come make fire with me babes! I am all warmed up now..." The Stainless Steel trailed off as he saw Yumi holding a fruit twice as big as the previous one.

"Ok, let's talk this one out..." Stainless Steel pleaded. Then everything became like a cartoon. There was a lot of choking and muffled curses. Then Yumi somehow managed to stick the fruit in his jaws and break the human jaw limits. But I figured Stainless Steel jaws were probably unhinged already.

"Alright then, I will get the fire ready, Yumi and Silk could perhaps build some sort of cover.

"Sure thing, Cherie!" Silk said energetically.

"Who put you in charge Ling?" Yumi's voice snapped, this wasn't going to go well.

"Fine, you are the boss. Tell us what to do, and we will do it like zealous priests." I said in a sarcastic tone; but not sarcastic enough to get me killed.

"Fine, we will have it your way." Yumi sighed. I watched the two of them get to work.

"What about me Ling?" Charlotte who looked at me with kitten eyes.

"I guess you can..." I was having the most difficult time in my life determining a person' uses.

Charlotte looked like an agitated five year old.

"Gather more firewood?"

"I already gathered a hand full! And I am hungry." She stomped her ground like a five year old.

"I guess you can go and collect some berries and mushroom, but don't get out of sight."

"Ok!" she was about to run off but I held her back.

"Remember to collect the mushroom and fruits that look more...ordinary ok?"

"OK!" there is no stopping her now, and she ran off like wild gazelle. I crouched down around the wood and got to work. Fire is an important key in outdoor survival. In most cases, people die from exposure, so it's important to keep warm. I got some toilet paper from the case and set it in the middle. Then I set smaller twigs around it like a tipi, and finally the large logs on the outer circle.

After finishing setting up I thought about how to start the fire. The focusing lense would be easy but the sunlight was weakening and wouldn't be enough to start the blaze. Back to the primitive options, the hand drill. The most difficult, but most also reliable option. I got a piece of firewood, the flattest I could find, then I began on making a spindle. I found a razor among my daily necessities, I popped the blade out and I used it to sharpen the stick. It took five minutes for the wood to start smoking and another five for sparks to catch, ever so gently I lowered the stick to the toilet paper and started the fire. It spread to the twigs and I prayed to God, to please keep the wind and rain away. And it didn't, for now. A few minutes a later, the wood on the outer circle caught fire. Since I don't want sparks to be dropping everywhere, I made a stone circle around the fire. Even though I did this many time during outdoor survival training with Professor, I was proud of myself that I actually accomplished this task.

"Not bad." Yumi's voice came from behind me.

"I know, eh?"

"This is fabulous, but it would be more fabulous, if it were just me and my Cherie." Silk said with a dreamy gesture.
