I could still feel the coldness in the room. It was too quiet, something I had not had in so long and to be honest I hated it. I couldn't even remember the last time I had felt this alone.

I now stood over my bed and looked down at the weapons I had laid out. My hands traced over them trying to get familiar with them again. I stared down at my hands still feeling like they were covered in blood.

I turned to the side hearing my phone ring once again but I ignored it since I knew it was only Caitlin trying to get me to back down from this. It had taken her a while for her to leave and as soon as she did I got right to coming up with a plan gaining the courage to go through with this.

I grabbed my phone and called Leo one more time. The phone continued to ring and ring and no one picked up. I exhaled thinking about the amount of times I had called both Leo and Bette since yesterday and none of them had picked up. I hung up again knowing it would be best to go now. I couldn't just keep putting this off waiting for one of them to answer.

I packed all the weapons and secured them in a bag while I began to adjust more weapons on me. I opened up the floorboard and pulled out a cold bomb that they had made for me a while back. As I set my stuff on the ground I looked to the side and saw Josh's bag near the closet. Walking to it I kneeled down and zipped it open. I pulled out pictures and some weapons from inside some were cleaned others were covered in blood.

"What the-" I say confused pulling out more things

I pulled out more photos and papers. Looking at them I realized it was from people from different organizations. I looked at the paper in my hand and saw its locations and peoples names. And finally my eyes landed on a phrase on the paper.

If I knew better it was a phrase you'd say to get into a secret hideout. And if I knew better I knew exactly who this phrase belonged to. It belonged to AliPhil. If Josh was involved with them then it was only for one reason.

Me.

He had gotten in the middle of my fight and in the end he got hurt. I then grabbed the last thing that was on the bottom of the backpack and pulled it out. My hands felt the cold feeling of the tube and as I turned it around my eyes landed on the branding on it. I pressed the button and I saw as the branding began to grow hot. I could see the rune that was at the end. And I realized it was the same rune that I had seen on that screen in STAR labs.

It was then that all of those doubts I had were rushing up. I knew it had something to do with Josh but I didn't want it to be true. I didn't want to see it, I didn't want to believe that my sweet josh would be ca[able of all of that.

I set everything back down wanting to get rid of the flash first. Then I was going to do everything I could to get back at Aliphil. If they really wanted me then they were going to have me and they were going to regret ever seeking me out so desperately. I would look at them with a smile while everything burned. And not even their cries for help would stop me.
