Chapter 11

Lana

I exit CC jitters planning on going home to return a few of the diamonds I had stolen. I walked down the street wondering what work they could possibly have now that Star Labs was closed. Looking at my phone I ignored the missed calls I had gotten thinking it was only Detective West again.

Quickly putting it away I looked behind me and could see someone following close. I sped up my pace and turned into an alley wanting to be sure before I took action.  I waited for the guy who was following me but he never came into the alley I hid in. Once I got out of my hiding spot and began to walk toward the exit I saw the same man who was following me appeared.

He wore a dark suit and I could clearly see his gun resting in its holster. He looked at me confused for a moment before looking relieved.

Right when I was going to say something something went over my head. I heard a loud beeping noise before I felt something wrap around my body. I tried to fight off whoever it was but I was quickly tied so that I could not even move one inch. Before I knew it I could feel them throw me onto the ground that I could tell was now a car from when it began to move. I tried to think of my possible actions but before I could even act on one I felt something hit the side of my head knocking me out.

By the time I finally woke up we had stopped moving and the bag was finally taken off of my head. I looked up to see a few people I haven't seen before.

"Don't try anything" a guy says pointing his gun at me

The same guy along with another one grabbed my arms and pulled me up from the back seat of the van, "Come on" he says

I look around my surroundings and see everything looks different. Once we stepped foot out of the elevator we walked into a hall and I saw it's the organization's hall. I scoffed at how I was being treated as if I was the enemy.

"Where is Leo?" I ask them

They didn't say anything and just took me into another room. They sat me down on a chair and simply stood against the wall watching my every move.

The door quickly opens and Leo walks in looking embarrassed, "I'm so sorry," he laughs as he looks at me "they are new recruits. They don't know yet. Training has been a little rough with little members to train them. "

I rolled my eyes before I stood up, "When you became head of this place I didn't think you'd take advantage of it" I tell him

"I tried calling but you didn't answer and I just asked them to tell you to get in touch with me they must have got their orders mixed up" he says "but now that you are here I need your help. Well more like Bette needs your help"

"What happened to Bette?" I ask turning to face him

"She was arrested" he says "and I need you to go break her out. Before the people who framed her get to her."
