Driving to STAR labs was starting to become a path of danger seeing as every time i turned into a street i was never sure if id encounter a threat.

I looked out my window to see all the people walking. I gave them props for walking out this late with all of these metas running around from earth2. I was turning onto the next street when I heard a pop. I pulled over and got off to see my right front tire had popped.

"Great" I muttered

I opened the trunk and pulled out the spare tire when a man walked up beside me.

"Need help" he says taking the rest of the things

"uh sure" I say seeing he had already started changing my tire "thank you"

The man looked up at me and smiled. I looked around ready to defend myself in case a meta human tried to attack us. I was more than willing to change my own tire but why would I refuse help when it meant I didn't have to do it myself.

"You're hard to find" he says

"Excuse me?" I asked looking down at him

I reached into my back pocket grabbing my ring dagger but couldn't since someone else grabbed my hand.

"Let's not make a scene"

I turned to come face to face with someone i had seen before, someone who was from the other organization.

"Before you try and kill me did you do this on purpose" I say letting go of my dagger and pointing to my car tire

"We aren't here to kill you just to talk" he says "I never told you my name it's Liam"

"What do you want then" I ask "Liam"

If they weren't here to kill me then they were here to offer me a position in AliPhil.

"The last time I saw you- you killed the people I was with. I'm sure now you know it was a test one you passed" he says

"So you weren't trying to kill me?" I say "that's a first"
