School Rule 1: "Always expect the unexpected on your first day.

Dress up. Be beautiful. Your crush could walk in your path anytime in the day."

Chapter 1: The Zero

Today is the first day of the new school year. The sun shone brightly on the Rhapsody High courtyard and the voice of students chattering were heard from every corner. Some were talking about their summer vacations, the upcoming basketball seasons or their scholarship offers. Although Rhapsody High is merely your typical private school, the students are well known to have come from upper-class families and well-driven by their career goals.

One of the buses stopped by the gate before entering the parking space and the students hurriedly pushed each other to get down from the bus. Not for long, a blonde ponytails girl with thick glasses came down from the bus tumbling down clumsily. A couple of laughters broke, sneer comments and insults were thrown. Loser!

Brenda Collins is used to this kind of situation, even in her old school her clumsiness was a burlesque for everyone. She sighed, fumbling for her glasses on the ground before getting up.

"Are you okay?" A guy's voice was suddenly heard. He placed her glasses back softly and perfectly on to her face.

In her view, his glittering blurry blue eyes become clear suddenly. His dirty blonde hair was fresh and smooth, his pale skin was covered by blurred tanned lines and his thin lips drew a genuine smile. Brenda was starstruck for awhile.

"Alright. Be careful next time." The guy got up and walked passed Brenda before she was even able to thank him. As he walked passed, Brenda was still observing him. Nathaniel Robinson. She remembered reading from his name tag. His uniform pants were neat, his hair was cropped short and the way he walked gave her goosebumps. Is this what they call as love at first sight?

Brenda is a new girl in Rhapsody High. Her dirty blonde messy hair can't never be tame and she has always worn glasses since second grade. When she first got her glasses, her clumsiness always caused her glasses to last no longer than two weeks. Her parents finally decided to buy her a pair of glasses with extremely large yet strong frame and honestly these glasses had survived for years.

Apart from being known as clumsy and four-eyes, Brenda is also known to be the bottom and the last in everything. If being the last is ever called talent, this would be Brenda's talent if she had any. Sometimes she wondered why can't she be as cool as her older brother, Brook? Brook is a total complete opposite of her, perhaps all the genetic talents that their parents possess were accidentally passed to Brook, so that she is left with nothing.

Brenda took out her phone and checked the time, almost half an hour and she hasn't found the school main hall yet. According to the Introductory Day Schedule given by the headmistress, everyone should assemble in the main hall according to their houses and year groups, but firstly she needed to find Renata Montez. All the new students have to be notified by the student body members.

When she finally found the main hall, seats with house tags were already arranged. Zeus. Hera. Hades. Poseidon. At the front, a group of students seemed busy reorganizing some things. Perhaps they would know who Renata Montez is.

Before Brenda approached any of the students, a beautiful girl, taller than her, tapped her on the shoulder. "Do you need any help? I've never seen you around before." She smiled.

"Uhm... yea. I need to find Renata Montez."

"That would be me." She laughed lightly, her curly brunette hair fell perfectly on her oval face. She pointed at her name tag. "I'm Renata Montez. The student body vice president. Welcome to Rhapsody High."
