School Rule #9: Charles Darwin predicted that an organism which is more adaptable survive. Hence, if you get bully, smile and adapt to it. Or you can pay them back.

Chapter 9: Survival

Although Brenda told Nathaniel everything is okay, the pranks hadn't stop. If it wasn't for Ashley and Gabriella supporting her, she probably already ran home and begged Brook to move her from here.

The spider was only the beginning. A couple of times involved toilet water falling from the top of the toilet door, her locker filled with open (thank god they were unused) condoms and the worst was locked in the gym changing room while the lights are off. Luckily Ashley came to the rescue. When she got out, she saw Jaclyn sneering at her and Ruben was beside her, laughing. Ruben and Jaclyn were probably dating and they both were plotting together to make her high school life a living hell. How cute. She thought.

She wanted to tell Renata but she didn't want to accuse anybody for her misery. She had no evidence that Ruben and Jaclyn were behind these. What make things even worse was Gabriella didn't believe that Jaclyn was part of it.

"Jaclyn could be a meanie," Gabriella commented. "But you got to trust me. There is no way she would dare to get her hand dirty with toilet water and even worse, spider. I talked to her. She's really nice. You got to believe what Nathaniel said, he was so sure it was Ruben!"

Ashley suddenly added, "Whoever it is, it's only been around a week or two and we will have to find out who prank you in the end."

Brenda sighed.

"Tomorrow is the inter-school basketball game, yeah?" Gabriella eyes glittered.

"Yeah? So?"

"Remember what i told you? We can pay Ruben all your misery tomorrow."

"Gab, what if it wasn't Ruben?" Ashley's soothing eyes were calm but in fear.

"His tough luck, then. So, Breni, would you?"

Brenda shrugged. "Okay." How bad would the consequences be?

The game would start from 10am and lasted until 12pm. It was saturday morning and the usually empty school were crowded by a lot of people wearing non-uniform. Half of them came from North High. The Rhapsodies were wearing black, while Northies were wearing red. Each represent their main school color. Jaclyn in her black and pink cheerleading dresses were cheering with her bunny babes on the center of the gym. On the other hand, the North High cheerleading team in their red and gold dresses were ready to enter the gym.

The opening ceremony would involve each team cheerleading routines followed by cheer-off. A kind of freestyle dance-off to heat up the atmosphere. Everyone loves cat fights, in addition, the two school mascots, an eagle for Rhapsody and a lion for North will wrestle, not harshly, but rather entertainingly.

The basketball teams were in the changing room, waiting nervously, while their coaches screaming at a high octave to their faces. Brenda, Ashley and Gabriella went to the changing room back door, listening from the other side of the door.

"How could we do this?" Ashley asked, she hated this, but she liked the idea of being an undercover agent. "How could we make sure we got Ruben?"

"I'll take care of that." Gabriella winked. "The two of you wait in the girl's toilet." Ashley and Brenda hurriedly ran to the girl's toilet.

Gabriella took a long breath. Her twin and she used to be in the drama club, this is nothing for her. She opened the back door confidently.

Half-Naked guys with only their towels were walking around nervously. She found herself admiring some of their bodies, but she remembered she currently on a mission. The guys were eyeing at her in shock, knowing any girl isn't allowed into the boys changing room.

"Ruben! Ruben! Help!" She started screaming in panic. The coaches were looking pissed trying to catch her and drag her out. "Jaclyn. She's in girl's bathroom. I think she fell and she hurt herself. She told me to call you."

Ruben who was sitting on one of the bench surrounded by his teammates hurriedly got up. "Where? Which toilet?" His eyes were bloodshot angry. "Bring me there! I'll be back." He said to his coach.

Just like that, he followed Gabriella's panic act and they ran towards the nearest girl's toilet.

"Where is she?!" He asked as soon as they reached the toilet.

"There. In that cubicle." Gabriella pointed at the most corner cubicle. Ruben ran into the cubicle, and he went straight into trap.

As soon as he got in, a bucket of water fled onto his head. Covering his view. In the count of seconds, the cubicle door is closed and locked.

"Hey! What do you think you are doing? You Northsies b***es!" He started swearing. "Got me out of here! I have a game to attend to!"

Brenda's head came out from the cubicle beside his. "I am not a northsie. I just wanted you to feel how i feel when you do all those pranks on me!" She laughed.

"You don't know what you are doing! Get me out of here! Now! Get me out! This is important! Four eyes! Hey! Zero girl! When i got out, you're losing all your bones!" Ruben was shouting all his anger at the top of his lungs.

Brenda, Gabriella and Ashley walked out of the girl's toilet, placed a notice "Under Repair" and they laughed.

First Mission Accomplished.
