When the sun goes down and the moon bathes the land in its silvery light, the world is transformed. The bustling and electricity of day dies down and is replaced by a soothing serenity. Even in large cities that never sleep and the pure light of the moon is overpowered by the neon glow of industry, things somehow still manage to feel calmer. It's like there's a unique magic that can only be felt without the sun's harsh glare. It can't be explained but, while the day has its own beauty, the night somehow feels alive, like the darkness itself is a living, breathing thing. Like it's watching over you as a guardian protector. The air feels different in your lungs as you breathe, it feels fresher somehow, purer, and tastes like magic.

It's felt much more strongly in rural areas, places with less light pollution where the stars sparkle in the heavens and the moon's glow bathes the land in that pure and silvery light. Just standing under the stars is enough to put the most troubled of souls at ease, at least for a while. It's an ancient and forgotten magic; whether it's the planet's latent magic or the spirits of those long gone, the cause lost to the sands of time, but one thing is certain; the night is mystical and enigmatic and has its own way of healing the spirit when you open your mind and soul to its power.
