Chapter 3

The next morning I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I glanced at the time and saw that it was already 11:57. After stretching and yawning, I picked up my phone and was about to answer it when the missed call sound beeped. I hate when that happens.

Annoyed, I saw that Stacy was the one who woke me up from my Nate dreams. I quickly called her. "Morning Stace." I somewhat muttered into the phone. I think my brain hurt from sleeping too much.

"What? Morning! You're kidding me. Anyways, when you listed all those random things yesterday, this is not what I had in mind," she flatly said.

I tried to decide whether she was mad at me or annoyed at me or what. I honestly couldn't tell when she talked like that.

After a few moments she cried, " I'm just kidding! Your video is really good! Aha I wonder if your 'special someone' saw. By the way, if you could see me right now I would be winking at you."

I smiled at the compliment and suddenly ran to my desk to turn on my laptop. "Actually... I don't know if he responded yet. Let me check and I'll call you back later."

"Okay, talk to you later!" Stacy said. I hung up the phone and fiercely typed in my username and password. As of the moment I had 21 notifications, and I couldn't hold back my child-like excitement.

I hurriedly clicked on my video and saw that I had 30 likes and 19 comments. Holding my breath, I scrolled down and saw:

Stacy- woah Katie, who are ya talking about? ;D

Matt- obviously about me, duh

Karen- aha yah right. I think she likes guys who are better than you

Matt- hey, whatcha talking about? Imma great guy

Kristie- OMG! I love this song! You're an amazing singer :D keep it up

Stacy- @Matt you're not her type. Just stop it

Robert- ha Matt no one likes you xD

Matt- shut up Rob

Karen- hey Katie I think you might know him Nate Donovan.

Matt- what was that for^

Karen- don't worry about it ;D

Rachel- Katie!!! Please stop being so perfect

Stacy- ^ I second that.

Matt- @Stacy @Rachel stop being so girly

Nate- hey Katie I love your voice. Can't wait for your next vid :)

Stacy- Ikr! You should totally sing another song to ur "special someone" :D maybe this time... Choose a song that we know

Kristie- hey! Just so you know, youre missing out on Greyson Chance's awesomeness

Stacy- whatever you say -.-

Nicole- Love it! Katie!! Tell me who this song was for! I won't tell anyone ;) :DDDD

Wow. I took a deep breath and read all the comments again. I was smiling and feeling happy. It was funny how Matt pretended that he was the guy I liked, even though we both know it's not him. I mean, I've never told him before, but if I did like him, I'm pretty sure he would know.

Suddenly my bedroom door opened. "Katie, you're finally awake! Time for... brunch!" My dad yelled. Then he closed the door and I heard him going back down the stairs. Quickly, I commented:

Katie- Thanks for all the love guys <3 and no, I'm not saying who it is. My lips are sealed :D

I quickly clicked my notifications again, and saw that within all my comment notifications, there was one that said "Nate Donovan and you are now friends" Smiling, I went to the bathroom and then downstairs for brunch.
