The next day at the afternoon I'm at
Lucas' house with Sean, Emily, Drake and Maria. We are having a good time talking and joking around. I like how easy it is to spend time with them. Since they also are vampires I don't have to put any effort into what I'm saying and I feel as if I can be myself. I love being in their company.

All the sudden my phone starts calling in an original melody. Everyone gets quiet and I pick it up.
-Hello?, I ask pensive.
-Hi. Is this Zane Ashford?, a girl's voice wonder. Caitlin. I can't help but smile.
-Yes it is, I reply friendly and walk out of the room because all my friends are curiously eavesdropping.
-It's Caitlin Rhodes, the girl you met twice..., she starts to explain and I interrup.
-Yeah, I remember. So you figured out my number...,
-Yes. Do I get a prize?, Her voice sounds so sexy that I lost myself for a while.
-Well, I could take you out for dinner,
-That would be great, she expresses herself happy.
-What day suits you best?, I ask and I think she appreciates my kindness.
-How about tonight?,

When I drive away from Lucas' house I'm actually nervous, and I'm never nervous.

I told my friends that I had to meet up with another friend. I couldn't say that I was going on a date, they would probably assume things and want to know details.
I don't think I managed to persuade them completely, but apparently enough for them to accept my apology for leaving.

Before I meet up with Caitlin I drive to the far end of Jaxonrose and spot my next victim - a young brunette woman in a black dress walking alone in the street. I easily charm her and then feed her blood til I feel less weak.
I had gone an entire week without drinking and I sure needed it.

Caitlin's blood is different, but it's still blood that I can feed. In order to prevent myself, I must ensure that I'm satisfied and full of human blood before I meet her. So that I'm measured and don't have such a big desire. I don't ever want to risk biting her.

I park my car outside Caitlin's apartment where we first met. My car is now standing where her car stood and I'm walking in the direction she did when I called on her.
I walk up the stairs and push the button with the number '5' on it as she told me to do and wait for her to answer.
-Hi! I will be right down, she says and hungs up.

I'm wandering around outside the apartments in the slightly windy weather, trying to come up with a good sentence to say.

I hear her walking down the stairs and I turn around to see her walk out through the door. My body feels very tense, but strangely jumpy.

Caitlin comes out of the door with a beautiful smile on her soft lips. She looks unbeliveble stunning.
She's wearing a thight and pretty white dress that enhances her female body shapes. It ends just above her knees and it has a neat neckline. She also wears a jacket and in the hand she holds a purse.

"Wow...", is what comes out of my mouth when I open it and she giggles.
"You look gorgeous.", I confirm from my heart.
"Thank you. You look very hot.", she says as a compliment. I'm wearing a quite expensive blue shirt, but on the other hand, almost all my clothes are high-priced.

I walk up to the driver's seat of my parked Ferrari.
"What are you doing?", she snaps uncertain with a quiet voice.
"What?", I question confused. "It's mine."
"You drive a Ferrari?!", she asks shocked and stares at me with a wide open mouth.
"Yeah?" I take my car keys out of my pocket and unlock it.
"Wh... How...", she stutters and gets silent, she's probably thinking.

I open the car door for Caitlin and she sits down in the front seat. She looks incredible amazed and overwhelmed. She observes everything carefully and she sits completly still, as if she thinks the seat will break if she moves.

"Why are you driving it?", she asks when she admires how shiny everything is.
"It's a car, why wouldn't I drive it?", I ask and take my eyes of the road for one second to see her pretty face.
"It's very, very expensive. Shouldn't it be standing in a garage? Aren't you afraid it will get scratched in traffic or that someone will steal it?"
"No, not really. If it gets scratched, I will pay for it to get fixed and if it gets stolen then I will just buy a new one.", I explain and that starts a whole new discussion.

We talked, no she asked and I answered, for a very long time about me being a billionare. It seems to be a very big deal for her.
