When we return to Jaxonrose I'm exhausted and Caitlin feels ill because she's in the first stage of turning. I don't think neither one of us understood how sick she would be.

We have already made plans for the next couple of years that follows.
So we spend the first two days at my place sorting trough my things and packing everything into moving boxes. When Caitlin feels better I have promised that we will travel the world together and then we will settle down, buy a mansion in Malibu and live happily ever after.
I don't know if we will follow our plans or if we will go on other adventures. All I know is that whatever we do it will be together.

"Where are we going?", Caitlin asks excited when I tell her to step inside the white limousine.
"It's a surprise.", I utter and the driver starts the engine.
"It's so exciting.", she says joyful and I can't help myself from smiling because she looks so, so happy. I remove a strand of blonde hair from the side of her gorgeous face and kiss her softly on the forehead.

The driver opens the car door and Caitlin steps out in the beautiful evening light.
Right ahead of us is one of my company's many skyscrapers, it reaches above the clouds and is located on the coastal edge.
"What are we doing here?", Caitlin asks thoughtful and wrinkles her brow.
"Now you have the chance to properly say goodbye before we begin our journey.", I say and nod my head towards the entrance. When she realizes she practically runs there with open arms, because in front of the welcoming door are her two best friends, Mary and Savannah.

I remain at the limousine and watch them from a distance. You don't have to be close to see how happy they are, especially Caitlin, she radiates joy.
When I was hunted and Caitlin and I left for Malibu she never thought she would meet her friends again. Now here she is, hugging them and laughing out loud.

"May I take over from here?", I wonder polite as I walk up to them.
"Of course.", Mary answers kindly and I lead the astonished Caitlin around to the rear of the building, where ocean meets land.
The sun is going down at the horizon and in doing so it creates a extraordinary sunset. The whole sky has turned into different shades of violet and it's a wonderful sight.
"It's incredibly beautiful.", Caitlin utters amazed as she admires the view.
I show her the romantic table set for two of us with silver cutlery and cozy lit candles - a three-course dinner. And as she's looking at the white roses in the vase I step down on one knee and take out the tiffany ring box from my blazer.

"Oh my god, Zane...", Caitlin utters speechless. She stares at me with her kind crystal blue eyes and before I know it, they start to water.
"I promise to always be there for you and to keep falling madly in love with you each day. I know for sure that you and I belong together. I've known it since the day I first met you. There is nothing I want more in this world than to spend the rest of my life with you.", I say and watch as happy tears streams down her cheeks. I open up the ring box and hold it up towards my stunningly and outstandingly gorgeous girl. "Caitlin Rhodes, will you marry me?"
