I follow the sound of the person breathing, it's far down the fancy corridor. The walls are white and they are adorned with well-paying paintings. I'm not very fond of darkness, that's why the corridor has many large windows that let in sunlight and makes everything bright. I walk pass at least ten doors and behind each one of them is a room, some have hidden secrets and others have memories.

The closer I come, the more clear the persons breathe becomes. I spot a door standing ajar, it reveals everything with a small glimpse.

I sneak peek inside and see Caitlin standing in there. She is standing next to up to forty packed moving boxers at the far end of the room.
The walls have a blood red carpet and are bare, and the brown wooden floor is shiny.

Caitlin is standing with her back to the entrance, her head is leaning forward as if she is looking down at something. She hasn't noticed me.
I knock on the door with my knuckle, she jumps and throws a hastily glance over the shoulder.
"You scared me.", she says calming herself, her voice echoing in the empty room.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." I walk up to her, put my arms around her waist and softly rest my head against hers. I feel her body relaxing and the corners of her mouth curve into a beautiful smile. "You're not supposed to be in here.", I note in a whisper, but she doesn't respond.

I look over her shoulder and see that the moving box in front of us is open and I can spot lots of photos, all taken a long time ago.
Caitlin is holding an old photo of me with the ravishing lady, Irene. I remember the evening plainly.
- It was the year 1872 and I was living the single life of London. Cedrick and I went to different vainglorious galas every evening to entertain ladies and drink expensive bottles. We were bachelors, gentlemen and 'brothers', and as vampires, we did whatever we pleased.

Caitlin looks at it thoughtfully, examining every detail - my then stylish clothing and equally good-looking young face. I was wearing a dress coat of black superfine cloth and lined with black glace silk. The black waistcoat has a fold in white silk and a shawl in a well-sewn form.

"When was this taken?", Caitlin asks curiously, I think she understands that it's certainly not taken in the 2000s.
"My friend gave it to me as a joke. It's supposed to look like it's taken in the 1800, I think.", I answer lying. She just nods and puts it down in the moving box again.

Caitlin turns around, facing me and kisses me like my lips are air and she can't breathe.
I'm so wildly attracted to her that I actually feel it driving me insane.

"Now, come on. There's a party downstairs and we're missing it.", I say and she takes my hand.

When Caitlin and I are walking down the staircase, I see Aubrey at a distance. She's standing among some people, talking with a drink in her hand. Our eyes meet and I see how her gaze shifts to Caitlin and directly they get shiny of tears. She pours the last in her glass down her throat, before she turns on her heel and disappears into the crowds of people.
