Above is what I think Samson human form looks like.

Ruby's pov.

Well, Christine and her mate have taken care of things with their pack and are almost ready to leave. I still have no idea what to do with our pack and what Seth is deciding. I think about telling Seth to stay here but I know that won't work.

All the sudden it feels like someone is watching me. I look around through the forest and take a deep breath but I don't see or smell anyone. Oh well, probably just stress making me jumpy.

"So Ruby, I have an idea," Seth says.

"Well, what is it Seth?"

"So what if I make it seem as if we aren't going and have my beta watch the pack while we are gone, and have him double patrols and make it seem like we are still here when we really aren't?"
"It's a great plan, I'll get our stuff packed and call Christine," I say. I go and get everything ready for the trip and load the car with our stuff. Then I call Christine to get her stuff and mate ready for pickup. Seth drives us there and helps them load up their stuff. Then we start our journey.

It was decided that we would only stop for bathroom breaks and food, to drive straight there. We reach the Rocky Mountains in three and a half days, sooner than expected, but we’re happy to get there so quickly. We go to the location on the map and start searching for answers. We smell other wolves and wait at their border, careful not to cross.

"You’d better have a good reason for being here!" one says as he appears in front of us.

"Yes, we are looking for a female wolf who abandoned us as kids and had us separated as well, we would like an answer as to why," I say.

I watch as his eyes fog over, meaning he is mind-linking someone in his pack. After what feels like forever a female wolf appears. She sort of looks like Christine, but nothing like me. My eye color, hair color, and height are different from theirs. For a second we’re all silent. Then I say, "So what do you have to say for yourself, mother?" I can’t hold back the venom in my voice. I really didn’t mean to sound that mad but Sophia was pissed as well. Christine seems to be chill though.

"It's a rather long story," our mother says.

"Well start explaining because I have a pack to get back to!" I’m getting angrier by the second, and my boyfriend comes to calm me down.

"Well you have power in your blood,” she begins, “like you probably have found out, and when too many wolves like us are together it causes a huge dark force to stir. That would cause a lot of problems. When I had Christine first it wasn't that bad to control but then I had you and we couldn't do much, so I gave you to my best friend and Christine was raised by an alpha. I left to keep the dark forces away but then you and your sister started becoming stronger and found out about each other and then came to find me for answers."

I want to punch her right now. "So you left your own kids with no clue of what they were and with fake parents and not once did you visit us to see if we were ok?! My first mate rejected me, he is also out to kidnap me and my sister, I was ignored by my fake parents, and no one liked me. I never had friends there. I ran away and joined a new pack and found my new boyfriend but you wouldn't know that because you weren't there for me or Christine!" Finally, not able to control my anger I shift and run in the opposite direction. I hear my boyfriend tell Christine and everyone else to just stay there while he follows me and sees if he can calm me down.

Seth's pov.

I volunteered to drive first, and watched my beautiful girlfriend sleep while I was driving and Christine and Leo were talking about just regular stuff. I didn't feel like eavesdropping so I just keep driving.

We got here in a little over three days and we found the place where their mom is. We meet the alpha of the pack territory here and he mind-linked a female wolf who showed up. I didn't see much in common between Ruby and this female wolf, but I'm guessing it's their mom because she does look like Christine. I could feel Ruby's anger coming off in waves. There was a talk between them and it gets heated and ends with Ruby shifting and running off.

I tell everyone that I got this and to not worry. I hope she is ok. Christine seems awful chill; maybe she is angry but is keeping it under wraps or something. I run after my girlfriend so I can talk to her. I find her sitting by a lake with anger still radiating off of her, and truth be told I'm a little scared. I start to talk to her when we both hear a howl. We start to run back and we arrive to see...

Cliff hanger!
