Ruby's pov.

I go to find Elijah when I see a shadowy figure in a bush. I didn't know if maybe I was seeing thing or what but I went over there and when I took a closer look I could see that it was a dead body. I knew it was one of my pack members because they said hi to me every morning. I mind linked all of the pack and told them to be careful and to stay safe. Seth starts to arrange a funeral for our lost pack member and asked me to sing since he knew I was their closest friend, I agreed because I knew that they would want me too.

They always loved to hear me sing songs to the children. We told the wolves that I would be training to go to their houses that it would be awkward for them to attend when they didn't know the person who died. We held the funeral a few hours later and I choose the song Slipped away by Avril Lavigne:

I finished the song and stepped away so that Seth could say a few word and then they lowered the casket into the ground. I wonder how someone was able to sneak into our borders and kill one of us. Whoever it was didn't leave a scent behind either. It looked like it had to be done by someone they trusted because they haven't recently shifted and their neck was snapped so the other person had to be near them and that means the other person didn't shift either. This means they knew each other and unless they knew a rogue it had to be someone from inside the pack. We have a traitor in our pack and I'm going to find them.

Violet's pov.

I can't believe I am reunited with Seth he is like a brother to me. I like Ruby she is really nice and saved me, she could have killed me or let that man get me. Me and Seth talked for a bit until someone found a dead body and he had to go and attend the funeral, I would have gone if I could but doctor told me to rest. I laid there for a moment and heard a beautiful voice singing for the funeral it sounded like Ruby's voice. I wish I could sing like that maybe I can get Ruby to teach me. I start to feel tired and fall asleep.

*Flashback* I was in a dark room chained up, marks all my body, and he walks in the room. "Since you won't live to tell anyone I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do to all your friends and family." I was too weak to yell at him about how he was a monster. He told me how he was going to rise up and show people that he wasn't weak and no one would ever judge him ever again. I think he is insane and has a bad past that made him this way, some part of me deep down felt sorry for him. He told me about a special wolf who could help him with what he wants to accomplish. "There will be no more alphas, betas, or third in commands, we will all have the same title. That does not mean there won't be a leader, that just means that no one will have control over to say who is weak any more. The ones known as weak will rise up and show the people on their high horses that they are not unreachable and they can be dethroned at any time." *End of Flashback*

I woke up to see Seth looking out the window, "What are you doing?" "Making sure you are safe." "Oh, are you ok?" "I'm fine just a little on edge because of the death, somehow you were able to come back, and some wolves from another pack is here training because their pack is being attacked all the time and they can't defend themselves." "I see. I need to tell you what's about to happen and that you need to be prepared." "Right now you just need to rest, I am always prepared and if you want to tell someone about what you think we need to do then I suggest my beta because I have to get back to my mate before she thinks I'm cheating on her or something." "Oh, ok."

I watch as he walks out of the room, it seems like something is bothering him, maybe it's that wolves from another pack is here and it sets his alpha side on edge. I miss this pack, it's a lot different than the last time I was here. There are so many faces I recognize but some of them I don't, they must be new members or the pups that have grown up. I can't wait to go out and meet everyone who is new and go and talk with the others that I haven't seen in forever. I also want to ask Ruby if she will train me so I can get stronger so that I can't be taken again. I wonder what kind of punishment that guy is getting for trying to hurt me, whatever they are doing to him I'm sure isn't enough to teach him a lesson.
