Seth's pov.

There were rogues everywhere, and I was worried about my girlfriend. I have to make sure she stays alive. I hear a whimper and I see her sister pinned down, her mate being held back.

I’m being attacked by all sides, but my girlfiend, as soon as she sees her sister pinned, goes crazy and attacks all the rogues until she gets to her sister. She basically takes out all the rogues by herself, and to be honest I’m a little scared of her; so is Blake.

She looks around, making sure everyone is fine, and her eyes rest on her mom. I start feeling anger rolling off of her in waves. She is in her wolf form but she is somehow able to talk; she sounds like she wants to kill her mom right here and now.

She starts yelling at her mom and then gets even more angry when her mom says to calm down.

I don't even think I would be able to calm her down right now. I jump when there is a bright flash and I see her eyes turning red; her wolf is going to take control soon.

I'm pretty sure Sophia is in control now because she laughs very loudly and it makes me want to run. Sophia studies her mom and I'm pretty sure she is stalking her like prey.

I can't believe my eyes. My girlfriend standing there stalking her mom is terrifying me so I do something I regret very much.

"Sophia, why are you acting like this? You have never been this furious before and I'm not sure I'm understanding why?"

She slowly turns around and chuckles again. "Well my boyfriend, I'm going to make sure she pays for what she has done to us. Why are you questioning me?"

I try not to run as she is staring at me right in the eyes, "I-I-I, uh, I'm not questioning you, and how are you going to make her pay?"

Crap, I stuttered, now she knows I'm scared and that was a mistake.

"Are you scared of me? Do you think I would hurt you? Do you really think that little of me?"

I can tell that what I did was pushing her, but now I'm not sure what to say. I always thought my girlfriend would be sort of normal, but normal in a good way. "I'm not scared of you, I don't think you'd hurt me on purpose, and I don't think little of you. It's just that I've never seen you like this and I just don't know how to handle it." I can feel the waves of betrayal hit me, now what's going to happen?

"So would you rather be with someone else you could "handle"? Our relationship isn't that strong anyways, you could just let me go and move on to someone else."

I start thinking about it, but I don't want to just let her go. I couldn't dream of being with someone else, but what would happen if I reject her?

??? pov.

"Come on, hurry up, I want to get there before something happens!" I need to get there so her mom or I could explain things to her. We run to get there, and then shift and get clothes on so that we don't seem like a threat. "Why don't you tell her the whole truth?" I say.

We walk into the field where there is blood everywhere. I look around and can feel her anger.

"I-I-I don't k-know what y-your t-talking about!" I see her turn back to her mom. "Tell me what!?" Her voice sounds so cute.

"I swear, I already told you everything!" her mom replies.

I smile, "Either you tell her or I will do it for you!" I see the horrified look in her eyes.

"Well, Ruby, or... Sophia, I told you the truth. I just didn't tell you all of the story," she says hesitantly.

I feel another huge wave of anger. "WHAT!?" I look between them.

Her mom takes a breath before she continues, "You have power in your blood. That was all true. But you also have something else. It happens when a special wolf breeds with a rare wolf: it creates a hybrid.

I am a rare wolf and a male special wolf was my mate. He was killed though because he wouldn't tell them where I was. So you being a hybrid means your wolf is more of a wild beast than just a normal wolf. She’s stronger."

"You didn't think this was important enough to tell me?!"

I see her mom flinch, and I can smell her "boyfriend’s" fear role off of him. "I thought it would be best to wait and tell you later, because I didn't want to overload you with information."

I hear her growl and take a step forward, and her mom whimpers and takes a step back. Then she bellows, "You thought it would be better to hold back information again because you thought I wouldn't be able to deal with it!"
