For my long relaxing cozy day went by quite fast by the time I had realized it the night sky was dropping by. As I sat on my bed watching the undiscovered woods I felt the moonlight’s glaring at me once more. It started to tease me to come, and discover the woods my self. My parents had finally gone to bed while I was lost in my own thought about the starless night sky with the undiscovered truth about the woods. Suddenly I hear a man’s voice over my humming when I had stopped. It was a sweet lovely voice, but it struck me odd that I could hear it so close. I stood up walking to my half covered window seeing a man silhouetted by the moonlight. I did not put much thought into my own mind when I took off for the stairs.
Once I reached the outskirts of my house, and was near the woods the humming had stopped. The crisp air was stinging at my warm skin, and my feet made the crushing noise of grass as I walked. Suddenly the silhouetted man started to slowly walk towards me, and I felt a fire sensation break throughout my body. My breathing was controlled rather well, but my heart felt like it could jump out of my throat any minute. Soon his face became visible to me, but only enough to see his eyes, lips, and some of his reckless hair. With only one more step left for me to meet the stranger a wolf howls taking my attention from him to the sound of the howl. Turning back to my attention in the first place he was gone. I didn’t even know he had left nor did I even hear him. The sound of frogs, crickets, and the wind was left with me in the background. I looked around, but there was none thing but the cold starless sky and the hidden secrets in the woods. I decided it was best to go in the house since there is no reason for me to be out here alone at the matter. Bigfoot could kill me… I turned the lights out, laid in bed, and froze in my bed. Soon I was falling asleep as it got really warm. I wanted to know why, but my eyes grew so heavy I couldn’t fight them anymore. I was dressed to go riding on my four wheeler, but when I got the keys, Jamie, my dad told me no. I have to be Cinderella for the day. After he left and was up the road I grabbed the keys, and took off on the four wheeler even though he told me no. After I got back after a couple hours I cleaned, watch movies, and then made dinner. After dinner nighttime was around peaking over the woods, and I sat on the porch while the darkness embraced me. There was an overpowering feeling by the darkness that had embraced me, and the wind got a little chilly with me. I walked to where I was last night, and waited when I suddenly heard a low whistle. The same dark shadow appeared this time as close to me as possible. My heart was racing so fast that I must have been blushing at the same time. The man chuckled. It was sweet, and it gave me chills at the same time. We stared into each other’s eyes for what seemed like forever, and as I was to move my hair out of my face his hand came up to do the same. Our hands bumped into each other, but he moved my hair before I could do it. I felt the warm feeling of his hand on mine, and it smoothed me. “W-What’s your name?” I hesitated to ask, but I did.
In the lowest deepest voice he actually talked back. “You’ll know soon.” His eyes were soft, gentle, kind, but there was coldness to them as well. “S…” I went to speak, but his hands came to my lips saying shh. I looked up to see his eyes one last time in that moment I felt peaceful. A wolf howl scared me, and as I looked away the man had left. I took off for my house, I laid in bed and thought about what happened. “What’s his name?” Anyone who would be in my place would wonder just as well. “I better keep this to my self.” I had fallen asleep without one problem that night. I got up that morning for school, and while waiting on the bus the cool air followed me around but a man came up to the bus stop as well. The man was extremely tall, short reckless black hair, brown eyes, dark skinned, and had a lean body in which the girls at the school would fall for a guy like him. I couldn’t help my self, but he seemed to look a little familiar like he was. Before I could finish he looked at me. “What?” I turned my head blushing because he had caught me staring at him. “None thing…” I whispered back, but I guess he wasn’t paying any attention to me. We reached the school I ran over to my friend’s table, and began chatting with them. The day went by somewhat slow, but I had one thing on my mind since last night, and this morning. Is that the guy from last night? Once I was getting ready to get on the bus some kid knocked my books out of my hands. I bend over to get them, but the young man handed them to me and our hands had bumped into each other. Just like the one from last night… I grabbed them and ran on the bus before I had to walk. I started walking to the house after the bus had dropped us off I started to speak, but he beat me to it. “So, what’s your name?” His voice was cold, but had a tone to it that made me wonder. “Well?” “Huh! Wha? Oh! My name is Klarissa, yours?” “Draven,” His voice was crisp but strong the second he spoke. I walked over the fence of our house, shyly I said goodbye running into the house.
As I stepped in I sighed in relief. I took off for the kitchen and since then I have been in deep thought over everything. Sometime in the evening I was sitting on the porch as the darkness engulfed me. I walked to the edge of the forest waiting on him. I still do not know who he is, but I feel so peaceful around him. “What are you doing?” Jamie, my father, hollered at me. I pretended to look around then hollered back, “I thought I saw something, but it was just me.” “Alright, don’t be out late.” Just like that he shut the door. I walked back into the house seeing that my dad was in the kitchen cleaning. I ran upstairs shutting my door as a gust of wind came into my room. I went over the window string into the dark woods. A pair of crystal blue eyes was glaring me down as I slammed the window shut. When I walked away the glass window busted. Mom and dad busted my door down with mom screaming, “What in Heaven’s Name?” By my feet laid a little crystal blue stone, I picked it up hiding it from my parents. My parents looked at me for exploitation, but I kept my mouth shut. “Klarissa, Darling, What happened?” I looked at the ground cause my parents are staring me down which makes me highly uncomfortable. “I don’t know. I was just getting ready for bed when my window broke into a million tiny pieces.” Dad walked over to the broken window covering it with a towel while mom picked the pieces up off the floor. After that mess I laid in bed still holding the stone. I glanced at it, but before too long my vision blurred and I was long gone in dreamland.
No sound of an alarm, no sound of my parents screaming, and no sound of the world telling me I am alive. As I sat up in bed my body went numb. I turned off my alarm getting ready for school. As I stepped out into the cold air Draven happened to stop by the fence waving at me. “I thought that was you walking out to the bus. Good Morning…” He seemed lost for words, “Klarissa?” Draven smiled for the first time, “I will have to get used to saying that.” As the bus pulled in I jumped in to sit down then Draven sat next to me. “Oh you do not have anyone else sitting with you do you?” I shook my head no before speaking, “Actually would you like to sit with me in the morning and afternoon?” Draven seemed surprised that I had asked him but he said yes anyway. As school passed by I jumped on the afternoon bus waiting for Draven but he never made it. It is not a big deal for me because I just listen to my iPod. It is none of my business what he does anyways. While walking home from the bus I noticed Draven was walking without a shirt, shoes, and ripped up jeans on. I hid so he wouldn’t see me even though my face is bright red right now. He walked out of my eye sight so I went onto my path to the house. The night owl’s hooted at the moon while I cleaned my floors some from the left over glass. Startling me something pinged against my window. I ran to the window looking around when a shadow captured my eyes. The person waved at me wanting me to come out side. I slipped on my tennis shoes running outside without my parents knowing. I reached the outside world letting the cold air pierce through my skin. As I am walking toward the lamppost someone grabbed me slamming me into their chest. “Oomph!” I said trying to catch my breath as that person’s arms wrapped around me. Draven let go of me as I started to question him. “Don’t start to question me Klarissa.” “I just want to know why you are here at this time of night.” Draven’s sad eyes looked at me for a moment. “I wanted to talk to you about something but never mind.” Draven started to walk away but I grabbed his wrist. “What is it? I am a friend for you.” Draven hesitated before starting, “I had something come up at home. It is none thing to worry about. You have school tomorrow so go to bed.” “Yes mother goose.” Draven smiled at me before turning toward his house and running in the cold. “Goodnight,” I whispered to him as he ran off. I was back in my room lying in my bed when I saw the stone that was thrown into my window the other night. I laid it on the nightstand beside me to ask Draven about it later. My eyes grew heavy as my breathing grew slower and soon my dreams were filled with festivals.
