Chapter 1

Lucy's POV

"Lucy, we're going back to Japan..." My father suddenly stated.

Ever since my mother died, my father has never talked about Japan. My mother died when I was 5 years old and we continued living in Japan for 5 months. We then moved to USA. Now, my father wants to go back after 12 years.

"Are you sure?" I asked, worried.
He sighed then smiled at me. "Of course I am." He replied.

I smiled back and hugged him. "When is our flight?" I asked.

"Today." He answered. I was in shock. I quickly stood up and ran to my room to prepare my things. After, I took a quick shower and changed into my black EXO shirt and white shorts. I braided my hair and put on my red converse. I put my essentials in a bag I always bring. After that, I went outside and told my dad I was ready to go. He smiled and went to get his luggage. When he was done, we went outside, locked the door and went to a bus station and waited.

"Flight 0975, USA to Japan." The announcer announced.

My father tugged my shirt. I told him to go ahead because I told my friend to come and say our goodbyes.

Annie Leonhardt, my best friend, came. We talked for a minute then said our goodbyes. We hugged.

After, I went to my dad who was waiting by the gate. We then got to our seats and got settled in. We then took off.

"We have now arrived in Tokyo, Japan. Please go out one by one." The pilot announced.

We then started to get out. We were the last ones to exit the plane. We got our luggage and waited for a taxi. We were going to stay at a hotel for about a week until my dad can get us a house.

Then a taxi came. We then drove off to our hotel.

When we reached the hotel, I was amazed. It was extravagant. The hotel was called Totsuki Hotel. We booked a room. We then went to our room, settle our stuff in and went outside to eat. We went to a fancy restaurant called Charmaigne's. The food there was delicious.

After that, we went back to our hotel. When we got back, someone called my dad. He answered it and he then smiled. He said 'thank you' over the phone. I asked him who called him and he said:

"It's the headmaster of the school I transferred you to, and he accepted you."
