Chapter 10

Lucy's POV

"By the way Onee-san, why'd you come to Japan?" I asked, eating a delicious apple.

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you.." She replied.

"What?"

"I'm getting married! Isn't that great?"

I literally choked on the apple.

"What?! You're getting married?!"

"That's rude, Lucy."

"Sorry. But, does Dad know?" I asked.

"Of course, he's my father, duhhh." She replied.

Typical Onee-san.

"When's the ceremony?" I asked.

"Tomorrow. So you better get better quickly so that you'll be my maid of honor." She replied.

"What about Elsie? Your bestie?" 

"She had plans already. So, get better faster or my husband's sister will do it." She replied, fast.

I just sighed as I knew I wouldn't be able to get out tomorrow.

"Just let her do it for me. By the way, who is he?" I asked.

"Secret. I'll tell you tomorrow." She replied.

I groaned, internally.

She checked her watch and was replied.

"Gotta go, I'll call Dad." She said, before dialing for Dad.

I looked outside and congratulated the guy who got my sister.

She was pretty, smart and caring. Everything you want in a girl. 

She exited the room quickly as Dad came in 3 minutes later. We didn't talk much because he had some work to do.

I slowly fell asleep.

I woke up to the door opening.

I saw a nurse bringing a tray a food for me to eat.

My father thanked her as he helped me eat dinner.

After, I brushed my teeth and drifted off to sleep.

I, again, woke up to the door opening.

I saw my sister with a man and a very familiar little girl.

I got a better look at the little girl and my eyes widened.

"Nari?"

"Lucy nee-san?"

Hi! Sorry for the short update! But, I'll guarantee you, I'll update some more because our classes start on January 9. So yeah, bye.
