i woke up, seeing a plain white ceiling and hearing beeps beside me.

i tried to turn my head, but suddenly, a sharp pain hit my neck.

i went back to my original position and started calling out.

"hello?"

no one answered.

"anybody there?"

after a while, i heard shuffling.

"natsu? are you okay now?"

"w-who are you?"

the person who stayed with me when i passed out put their face infront of me.

and it was lucy all along.

"lucy?" i said, whilst trying to sit.

"don't! just lay down. you might hurt your neck even more."

and so i did.

it took me a few minutes to realize that i still had to ask what happened.

"oh by the way, what happened to me? why am i here?"

she looked and said,

"you got into a car accident. luckily, i was near the area so i decided to go with you to the hospital."

i haven't been happier.

she actually cares for me.

"since you're awake, i should probably go now. the hospital has already phoned your mom. so, bye i guess."

"umm, okay. bye luce."

then, she left.

it felt cold not having her in the same room as i am.

but i'm pretty sure she had something to do anyways so, yeah.

a few moments later, a guy came in with my tray of food.

he placed it on the table as he exited the room.

well, how am i supposed to feed myself?

i sighed, as i went back to sleep.

i woke up to a noise beside me.

"natsu! you're finally awake! thank god!" my mother exclaimed, hugging me, but not too tight.

"hehe. sorry for worrying you."

"damn right you should be sorry. i thought wouldn't see you again."

i could see the tears in her eyes.

i just grinned and told her that i was fine.

she helped me drink my painrelievers
which soothed my hurting neck.

after a while, she told me to rest while she went put to buy some stuff.

so, i was there, sitting up while looking around the room. and there i spotted, i pink hanky. i could barely see the initials, L.H.

Lucy Heartfilia.

+this ended so bad.
