"what's up with him?" i asked no one in particular.  i walked to brian who seemed happy to see me.

"hi babe!" he exclaimed while just blushed to what he said. i still couldn't get over the fact that i was in a relationship.

"want to get some ice cream? i know this great ice cream parlour down the block." he said, taking my hand as we walked towards the gate.

"sure."

"- so yeah, that's what happened." brian stated, as he finished his 'amazing' story about his family.

i didn't really care much, it wasn't even that amazing. it was really boring.

"hey, are you listening?" he asked, tapping my left hand which i placed on the table.

"huh? oh, yeah."  i replied, getting back to reality.

"okay. anyways, i'm done. we should go now." he said, standing up.

"okay sure."

i got back home five minutes later. i was tired as hell but, i still had to study and make my assignments.

i showered and ate dinner before before i started doing school work.

i got my bluetooth speakers and played some classical music to help me focus. but my mind always drifted back to natsu.

i groaned in frustation.

"what the hell is wrong with me?"

i laid on my bed and let my thoughts swallow me. and all of a sudden, i remembered him and lisanna, together. it made my heart ache.

i stood up and turned off my music and returned all my things to their respective places. i wanted to sleep early.

i got under my blankets and slept.

the next morning, i went to school. i got a late slip from the president once i entered the gates. i rushed to the lockers to change for phys ed.

the girls were already done stretching when i arrived. i was breathing heavily from all the running i did.

i stretched before joining the girls who were playing basketball. we had some drills before being divided into two groups where we would go against each other.

an hour after, we won, 28-23. my team was celebrating while the other team were congratulating us. i was in the corner, drinking my water. i did my best and scored at least five points.

we had a twenty minute break in between phys ed and math, so i had enough time to shower and change.

i went to the shower room, changed and headed out to my classroom with only three minutes remaining.

i got there a minute earlier than my teacher. i sat down on my chair as my teacher started discussing a new lesson.

"i should go ask him what's wrong." i uttered under my breath, thinking about natsu as i packed my stuff for dismissal.

i rushed down stairs, but i was met up with natsu's pink hair.

"natsu!" i yelled. good thing there weren't any other students around.

he ignored me. he didn't seem to have his earpods in.

"hey! don't ignore me!" i yelled again, this time holding his wrist back.

he turned to me with cold eyes. he asked, "what do you want?"

"why are you ignoring me? what have i done to you?!" i exclaimed, angry at what he did.

he hung his head low, bot answering ny question.

"natsu, i'm just asking what's wrong, just tell me-"

"do you want to know? okay then. it's because i fucking like you."

i froze right then and there.

with that chance, he yanked his wrist away and ran away from me, leaving me there, speechless.
