Nine.

Day 20.

Yesterday I got the bullet out of Cameron and cleaned the wound properly which stopped the poison form flowing through. That's the good news.

Marcus heard that Cameron both loves me and trusts me and it's almost time for me to lead everyone I've made friends with, into the trap. My time loving Cameron is almost up. That's the bad news.

Right now, Cameron is resting and needs to for the rest of the week. His body is weak and he won't be able to do anything.

"Madeline, try the pill I gave you on Cameron soon. We need answers." Marcus says through the earpiece. I nod and sigh.

I get a glass of water and make Cameron a small lunch. I go upstairs and get the voice recorder going.

I knock on his door and I could hear small snores. I place the tray of food on his bedside table. I lean down and place a kiss on his lips. After a while I felt him kiss back. We pull away and smile at each other.

"Morning." He says. I laugh at him.

"Afternoon. I brought you some lunch you should eat."

"Thank you." He kisses my cheek and takes a drink from the water. He puts the glass back down and looks a little loopy.

"Are you okay?"

"Never been better." I think it's working. Usually he answers with something more simpler.

"Cameron is it okay if I ask you some questions?" He smiles.

"Of course." I make sure that the voice recorder was going. I take a deep breath. While Marcus tells me what to say and what I was asking him, I could tell that the effects of the pill were waring off.

"Thank you Cameron." He dazes a bit and looks at me confused.

"For what?"

"Just being you." I kiss his cheek. "Now come on, finish your lunch."

"When did this get here?"

"I just brought it to you, don't you remember?" He shakes his head. I laugh and go downstairs.

I bump into someone.

"Who are you?" His voice was deep and eyes were dark.

"M-Mia."

"Mia who?"

"Jack this is Cameron's girl, leave her alone." Shawn puts his arm around me.

"Then why are you acting like her boyfriend if she's Cameron's?" Shawn lets go of me and backs up.

"Just being friendly." He walks away and Jack towers over me.

"I'm Jack Gilinsky. I'm surprised that Cam finally found someone, I mean, I understand why he would go for you. Gracie." He smirks and turns around. I awkwardly walk to the kitchen and get a glass of juice.

"Madeline, we've confirmed an appropriate date for Cameron and everyone to go to the warehouse." I wait for him to say when.

"Are you going to tell me?"

"You will know. That boy would never leave you alone from now on." I was confused what Marcus meant.

All I know is that the plans Marcus makes, never go to failure, so I just go with it.
