Chapter 5 - The Date

I was sad because I never know this will happen to me. I actually kinda wished that I wasn't on the X-Factor anymore. I called my mum later that night. 

"Mum?", I said.

"Perrie. I saw your preformance. You were amazing. I'm so proud of you. How are you love?", she said. Just by my mum telling me that made me think about it for minute. I can't let her down. 

"Thanks mum. I'm doing fine. I'm just calling to say hello. I miss you.", I said. 

"Well I'm glad to hear that. I miss you too. Keep up the good work okay?", she said. 

I smiled and said, "Okay mum I got to go. I love you bye"

"Love you too Perrie bye", she said and I hung up. I wasn't talking much when the girls and I went to the cafeteria. 

"What's wrong Perrie? You haven't been talking much", Jade said.

"I don't know girls. I'm just sad because I don't want to date Zayn. Sometimes I just wanna quit", I said. The girls gasped.

"Then no more Little Mix?", Jesy said.

"But they are probably going to replace me with someone else", I said.

"If you're out then we're out too", Leigh-Anne said.

"Really? And just throw everything away?" I asked.

"Little Mix is only going to be us four. So if you're out, then it's goodbye to Little Mix", Jade said. This made me realize that I can't let the girls down either. So I guess I have to date this Zayn boy and make everyone happy. 

"No. Little Mix is still staying. I'm going to date Zayn", I said.

"Are you sure? Don't do it for us love", Leigh-Anne said.

"No. I'm staying", I said smiling. The girls seemed excited and happy so they cheered and we all got into a group hug. But I don't understand. Why me? I didn't want this to happen to me. I'm doing this just because I don't wanna let down the people I love. 

*FEW DAYS LATER*

 Today was the day I had to go on a 'date' with Zayn Malik. I was just so mad that I just wanted the day to last long so I wouldn't have to go tonight. The girls tried to comfort me by telling me that everything will turn out okay. But I'm not ready and I'm not looking forward to this.

*TONIGHT*

I was getting dressed. I decided to wear a band shirt top, jeans, and my converse. This is normally what I would wear because again, I wasn't excited about this. 

"Ready Perrie?", Jade asked as I was getting ready. 

"Yeah I guess", I said. 

"Look whatever happens, we are here for you and if the date goes really bad then we'll all quit the group", she said. 

I smiled and said, "Thanks Jade. You guys are the best". I hugged her.

"Anytime but don't be so negative. I'm sure you'll love this and besides Zayn seems like a nice guy", she said. Yes she was right. I gotta stop being so negative. Maybe Zayn is not so bad and maybe I'll have lots of fun. I was finally done getting ready when someone knocked at the door.

"I'll get it", Jade said as she went up to the door and opened it. It was that woman from management. "Come in".

"Thank you", the woman said. "Okay Perrie dear, Zayn is waiting outside for you in a car okay?".

"Okay", I said.

"Now you got to at least pretend that you're enjoying this 'date' if you see any paparazzi around", she said. What? There is going to be paparazzi involved too? Oh my god this is going to be a terrible night. I could already tell.
