Bliss's Pov

"She's supposed to be dead."

The words couldn't seem to exit my thoughts ever since I heard them. For some reason... It bothered me greatly. But if someone dies, they're supposed to stay dead. No way out unless... The thought appeared in my mind but it was dismissed. It doesn't matter anyways.

But for some reason, it did.

She came back to life somehow. How is that even possible? Apparently she's been alive for weeks too. If it is magic, that takes some serious power. Plus, there is the added fact that she might not be the same person.

Everyone in WIND, including me of course, found our way over to the house where she lived. The house was huge and pretty fancy as well. In fact, it even had a lake behind it. Something was definitely off.

The three of us arrived at the double doors and hesitated for a moment, before Vixen knocked on the door hastily. Noises came from inside before a woman opened the door. She had short blonde hair and warm brown eyes that gazed over all of us before she let herself smile. She stood up straight and almost perfectly and had one hand on her hip, the other besides her lazily.

"Why hello there!" She greeted us, eyes still looking over us like she wasn't sure what to think. Her red robe shifted as she moved out of the doorway as a 'Come right in' gesture. We exchanged a look, then followed her inside.

The house was pretty clean and from the looks of it, was in the process of being cleaned again. The kitchen smelled of some sort of meat being cooked and everything around us just seemed... So perfect.

Too perfect.

Sitting down, both Ember and Vixen began to talk. I listened at first, carefully evaluating her words before drifting off. Their words became farther away while I was thinking.

She seems perfectly fine. She still has flaws and still is a person. I don't really sense anything bad about her either. No necromancy or some sort of undead spell which makes her turn suddenly on everyone. Magic is there but... It seems to be good magic. Not black magic.

Something began to stir inside me. Why did she get brought back to life? What's so special about her? WHY DOES SHE DESERVE IT?

H O W C O M E I T W A S N ' T--

"Anything else to ask Bliss?" Ember's voice broke me from my thoughts. "Huh? Uh... No, that's all good." I stumbled to the words, eventually forming a sentence. Everyone gave me a weird look before returning to talking.

I waited a while before returning to me thoughts. Why was I so angry about this? I haven't lost too many people in my life and... I have no idea what I was going to say. Who was I thinking about? Who isn't here that I got so bitter about? So many questions, and no way of knowing how to answer them. Thanks amnesia. Really helping out.

Before I knew it, we left.

"Hey Bliss?" Vixen caught my attention. "Hm?" I answered. "Are you okay?" I nodded. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine." She wasn't convinced, her green eyes staring me down. "No you're not." Ember noted. I sighed loudly.

"Guys, I'm fine! Honest!"

"You sure? You seemed a bit weird during the confrontation."

At that moment, I hesitated, which was all they needed to know. "Okay, there is definitely something up. What is it? Come on, you can tell us." I held the words in for a moment before spilling it all out.

"I don't know why but I got a really weird feeling at the meeting." Vixen's eyes raised. "Like a 'This is dark magic' feeling?" I shook my head. "No. Not like that. I felt really.... Envious? I got all weird about how she was alive when she was supposed to be dead. Like I was jealous that she was alive and not-"

Then the same thing happened. I had no idea what I was going to say. I had no way of knowing who I was talking about. Again.

"Was it-"

I stopped her quickly. "That was my first thought but no. I would have known that immediately. It's someone who is on the tip of my tongue but... I still have no idea what it is. Who it is."

They looked like they were going to say something when I waved it off. "Nah, it's fine. Probably just something I'll think of later. Anyways, we got a job to do so let's do it." I continued walking. I had the strong feeling that they were suspecting my lies but I just kept moving.

Nothing I can do about it anyways.

Hello and I am sorry for the wait! I got so caught up in other things that this story just got pushed to the side but here it finally is! It's really short I know but I hope to add on soon. Sorry once again but I got some writers block with this story and I just overall had trouble. Anyways, moving on I noticed that there is over 300 views and what the actual crap. Just wow. I never thought to get that much but thank you all! As always, be sure to leave a comment and tell me what I did, even a simple "Good Job" or "I like this part" is always nice to see! I hope to update more and sooner.
