--- Sean's Pov ---

'Jeez, she really did a doozy on her father...'

I couldn't believe the ferocity she had in her when she attacked her father, but I was seconds away from doing it, myself.

It was amazing how she just grew those talons, and clawed him to pieces. It made me proud to be her uncle.

What angered me the most was Sang's boys' behavior after.

Instead of comforting their woman, then stood frozen as they saw what a real vampire could do. While their jaws were dropped open, some of them off in other parts of the woods, throwing up from the sight of death, Sang had to stand there, covered in her father's blood in shame.

If Olivia and Cody didn't show up when they did, I was about to bash a few of them in the head to go over to her.

The first kill was always a shock to the system. We still had humanity, so a death was a death in the very beginning, no matter how we looked at it. But the way her boys were looking at her in disgust and weariness, it made me want to murder a few of them at the moment.

She didn't need to be judged. She needed to be comforted and held close. This was a trying time for her, and they were going to make or break her, depending on what they said to her next.

When I heard them talking about the Academy after what happened with Sang, I just broke.

"Some of you deserve to die. But the least she could do is leave your fucking asses here while we do the real job," I spat.

I grabbed Victor first.

"I don't know how you get all the women you do, Victor Morgan, because I don't know how a woman would ever want to be in your presence."

Pushing him back, I grabbed the next one.

"You, North Taylor. You think you're perfect for her, her perfect protector, but every time she's needed you, where the fuck are you? You and him," I pointed at Kota, "have your tails tucked between your legs, and whining until everything's over. Then you both run in, hoping for a pat on the head, or a few rubs in the right places. You want a treat for a job you didn't do."

"You," I grabbed Kota, "You'll never be like Owen, so stop trying. That's where you're going to fail your team, acting like a man you can never live up to be."

I pushed him back, hard enough that he hit the ground.

"You," I pointed at Nathan, "are just pathetic."

I pointed at the last one, Silas Korba. "You..." I growled, "You've done nothing wrong. I want to be so pissed at you, but you haven't fucking done anything for me to be angry at!" I huffed.

"All of you go get in the fucking car!" I screamed. They flinched, but they didn't move.

"Mr. Lee, boys, get in your car and head back to Sean's or just go home. We are done here."

Kota turned and did what Owen told him to. I wanted to smack Kota so hard, I'd break his glasses.

"Sir," Owen brushed a hand across my shoulder. "Yelling at them isn't going to do you any good."

"It gets out my rage, doesn't it?" I sighed.

"But what would you do if you accidentally hurt one of them. Sang doesn't need that right now," Nikolai tried to reason, stepping up next to me as well.
