Kakashi POV:
I was sitting on the windowsill at about 4am when it happened. It's been three weeks since Naruto was broughy back to Konoha. He'd been softly moaning in his sleep for the past week, but Tsunade said not to worry about it. Naruto began to toss in his sleep. Naruto never moved. The tossing turned into slight shaking. I set my book down and watched for a second.
Before I knew it, he was sitting up in the bed having full blow colvulsions and hyperventilating. His breathing was labored.
I quickly looked around, there were no nurses or Tsunade anywhere. His convulsions became more erratic and his hyperventilating got worse. I slowly pulled him into my lap; his head on my shoulder and his arms holding my torso in a death grip as he shook.
What he was mumbling was barely audible, but what I heard through his sobbing made me sick.
"It-t-t's m-my fault th-they're dead."
I shushed him and caressed his back but he continued sobbing about those words.
"He's-he's coming back. They're co-coming back."
"Shhh. It's okay. They'll never hurt you again, you're safe, you're okay." I kept repeating words similar to these for another hour until his grip on my waist loosened and he fell into the world of unconsciousness.
