Chapter 1-They Met

Run arohi run!!! U can't go weak now.. She composed herself and ran.

She was running with all her energy through the darkness. Suddenly she's stumbles and is about to fall when someone holds her. She immediately hugs him and start sobbing. She felt protected there,she felt like this is just the place where no one ever would dare to harm her but she continued sobbing.. Slowly he breaks the hug and she looks up to him but before she sees him..

"Arohi.. Get up!"Someone jerked her making her realise that she was dreaming.

"Kya hua?" Nishta asked her concerned,"why were u sobbing? Bad dream? "

Arohi just nodded her head positively. Her friend makes her drink water and goes back to sleep when she sees her fine.

Arohi lays down but is still disturbed. Not because of the bad dream but rather because she didn't understand who he was whom she hugged. She has been dreaming about the same person since a few days but not once was she able to see his face.
Putting aside all the unwanted thoughts she dozed off to sleep.

Office

It's 9am and half of the employees are running around with papers. Reason?Their so called boss Dhruv and his anger.

"Where is Arohi? "one lady asked another."Only she can help us from this Ravan!"

Just then Karthik entered to see the bank turned upside down and he understood what was in store today and looked up to pray god to save him from the wrath.

"Aaj Kya hua? "he asked shekhar as he passed towards his seat. "Usual stuffs"he shrugged."Ab inhe Arohi hi samjaa sakti hai! "

"Arohi? Who's she? "Karthik wondered. He has been hearing the name ever since he entered the office. As if shekhar read his thought." New employee,joined in when u were on leave. Milne laayak bandi hai" he winked.

Karthik smiled and walked away thinking about his flirty friend.
Soon things went on smooth.The bank was back to normal.

He whispered to his friend "Itni shanti?humaara hi office hai na? "
Rishi smiled and said "Arohi effect" and karthik looked up a bit surprised.
"Boss ko toh woh deal kar rahi hogi and baaki Sab.. "he indicated towards the cabin door where people where moving around just to see what's going on inside.

It was almost afternoon lunch time. All got in the tiffin and were having lunch together. Karthik gets up to get water when he sees someone sitting in the manager cabin facing the other side and busy in the work. Their manager had left sometime back so he knew this was Arohi. But he couldn't see her face.

As they were having lunch karthik heard a voice "Arohi!things settled? " enquired Bharathi."Yes mam! Finally."
Karthik still couldn't see her face "Bdw aaj Kya laaya arohi?" shekhar asked. She turned around "the thing u hate the most! Karela!" and shekhar made faces and she laughed looking at him.

But someone was shocked to see her and it was none other than Karthik. But even before he could react,lunch time was over and people got busy in their work. He hardly got time to meet her due to customers in bank and Arohi was in treasury department in the first floor.

As soon as it was time to leave Karthik waited near the staircase just when Arohi walked down talking to her colleagues.

"Arohi! "Karthik called out and Arohi's attention fell on him.

"Karthik??? "she asked surprised.

"What a pleasant surprise? " arohi smiled.

"yeah it is indeed"karthik replied.
Renu, her colleague asked " Arohi, coming? " she looked at Karthik then turned towards Renu "You carry on Renu" hearing which Karthik smiled but Renu didn't like it a bit.She walked away angrily. After all she liked him and had even proposed him but he rejected her and since then have been avoiding her being around. And for the first time had she seen him with a girl. Call it jealousy, insecurity,whatever.

"So?" Arohi asked.
"So..... Mind having a coffee with me?" Karthik asked.

Arohi smiled and walked saying "probably not! "

He grinned and walked.Like a true gentlemen he opened the car door for her,she smiled,thanked him and sat. He too proceeded towards the driver seat and they headed to CCD.

"So since when did you come to Chennai? " Karthik inquired

"Exactly speaking 13days 2hrs 20min"
Karthik laughed, "You are still the same"

"I know! Arohi kisike liye nai badalnewali. " arohi said.

"Yeah! Isliye toh manager ko b badalne mein majbur kar rahi Ho tum" Karthik smirked.

"Uski toh baat hi mat Karo Karthik. Kisidin merehi haathon uska murder hoga" arohi said annoyed.

Karthik was lost in his thought when arohi said. "CCD hi jaaneka plan hai na? "breaking his trance. And he realises he has taken the car ahead.
"U get down,i will get the car parked and come".She smiled,nodded and got down.

He parked the car and was walking towards CCD smiling at his own thoughts.
