Chapter 19-Is it Again a misunderstanding?

Next day

Karthik was excited since morning though he was gonna meet arohi in the eve with Nani... He was happy..By 3 he started losing patience..

"Nani kab jaana hai?" he enquired for the nth time since morning.. And nani smiled.. "Chalo nikal hi jaatein hai..mein sawaal sunke pakk chuki hu.."

Karthik excitedly got up to leave.. And nani followed.. Kirti had gone to meet few of her friends so she wasn't there.. Soon Karthik drove away his car to arohi's hostel.. Just as he got down from the car.. He saw nishta in her activa entering the hostel..

"Nishta??"karthik called making her Scooter to a halt.. She turned back to find Karthik..

" Karthik tum yaha? " she enquired.

"Woh arohi.." Karthik said but was cut off by nishta..

"Ussiko Station drop karke aarahi hu" nishta said..

"station? "Karthik asked puzzled..

" she wanted to go home.. Ever since she came from yesterday's event.. " nishta said..

Karthik was confused..

"kuch kaha usne?" Karthik asked..

"nahi...kuch hua taa kya kal event mein???she seem upset yesterday.. Mere laakh koshish k baad b kuch nai bataya..u know her na she wont share until she feels to..n morning she was adamant of going to her house.. " nishta said genuinely..

"For How many days?" Karthik enquired yet again but nishta shrugged and said.. "she just said.. Few days.. Didn't say precisely"

Karthik dissapointedly left.. And told Nani too..later he dropped Nani n kirti by night...he had tried making call to Arohi but was unable to call due to network issue.. He had her number but found it inappropriate to call on her land-line..

Next day office

Karthik was lost in his thoughts and Shekhar saw him upset..

" Tu toh proper majnu bann gaya.." shekhar teased..

" Tuje kisise pyaar hoga na Tab samjega.." Karthik replied..

" Ek tarfa pyaar se kitni takleef hoti hai mein jaanta hu.." shekhar mumbled..

"kuch kaha tune? " Karthik asked and shekhar nodded negatively..

"oh so someone is upset here.." Anisha said walking to Karthik's cubicle..

"Tu call kyu nai karleta usse?"Anisha enquires

"Uska phone lage tab naa.." Karthik said dissapointedly..

"Anisha ek Help karegi? " Karthik enquired after thinking and anisha nodded..

"Arohi K landline number pe call kar.." Karthik said..

"par Number kahase milega?" Rishi said innocently..

" 0484265****" Karthik replied getting a shocked expression from everyone while Karthik smirked..

"Number b byheart..not Bad..kuch seekho rishi isse 😒😒" Anisha said looking at rishi while he rolled his eyes

Soon Anisha dialled the number. And heard a male voice..

"Uncle mein arohi ki friend hu..kya usse baat kar sakti hu?" Anisha said over phone

"Ek minute beta......Arohi tumhaare liye phone hai" Arjun said

Soon came in arohi voice.."Hello.."

"Hey arohi..kaisi hai?"Anisha enquired..

Karthik snatched the phone from Anisha and kept it on speaker.. Everyone smiled seeing his impatience and he grinned..
