Chapter 8 Angry Arohi😬

"Tumne kabi bataaya nai usse ki tumne haath kyu utaaya taa uss ladke pe?" Karthik enquired

"We weren't on talking terms after that...mein bataana b chahta taa but usse pura sach b nahi bataa sakta taa...toh nai bataya.." Samar said

"Tum tabse usse bohot pyaar karte te na? " Karthik enquired..

Samar nodded positively..and then continued the story..

"But ek din uska saamne se call aaya humaare exams se pehle...mein tumhe bataa nahi sakta ki mein kitna khush taa uss din... " samar continued

"Phir?" Karthik asked tensed.. "Usne propose kia?"

Samar smiled.. "badaa mazaa le rahe ho dude humaari Story sunke..kyu? Kahi tumhe arohi se pyaar toh nai hua na?😉 "

Before he could reply Arohi came in..

"kya baatein horahi hai akele akele?" she asked as she came in..

"Do log akele akele kaise baat kar sakte hai Arohi?"Samar asked confused and shows as if he's thinking..

"Shut up! (hitting him) Ab bologe kis baarein mein baat horahi ti?" Arohi said

"Pehle chup rehne bolti ho phir bolne bolti ho..u r so confusing... " Samar said smirking..

Arohi gave a death glare to him and folded her hand to chest and looked at him angrily..Samar gulped n raised his hand in surrender..

"Tumhaari kartootein bataa raha taa bachpan ki kaise tumne mujhe relationship mein Band dia.." samar said smirking..

"As if tum nai bandna chahte te... " Arohi said glaring at him..

"Ab toh kehke b kya faayda..Band chuka hu...back out todi kar sakta hu.." samar said winking..

"Tumhe toh mein.. " Arohi said hitting him..

"Ouch! (Karthik and arohi looked up at him concerned) ...mein ek patient hu toh socho.." samar Says showing his fractured hand..

"Tum teek ho? " Karthik asked concerned..

"Mein bas yaad dilaa raha taa maar se bachne k liye.." Samar Says winking at Karthik

"Dramebaaz!! " Arohi said yet again hitting him on the other hand while Samar smiled looking at karthik(n Karthik remembers usse uksane n maar khane mein bada mazaa aata ta samar said sometime back and smiles back) ..Soon Karthik excused himself and went out to attend a call..

After the call when he was about to get in.. He saw through the door... Both of them talking something and arohi laughing.. He had never seen her this happy...Samar and Arohi did look cute together.. He thought..

Karthik pov- Mein kabi tum dono k bich nai aaunga...Samar utna b bura nai jitna mein samajta taa...Woh tumhe bohot khush rakega..shayad mujhse b zyaada... (a lone tear left his eyes) Tum agar samar K saath khush Ho toh mein b usse khush hu...Mere liye sirf tumhaari khushi maayne rakhti hai arohi..

Few days later

Karthik pov- After office I was ready for my routine work nowadays of pick up and dropping facility..
But today as I waited for her after office.. Anisha said that she left early.. I headed to the hospital and saw her there..

"I was just asking about you.. But she said u won't come as u were busy.. " Samar asked confused..

" Yeah I was.. But now done with the work I guess.. " Karthik said confusedly looking at arohi as to why she lied and not once was she looking up at him....

Karthik had some chat with Samar..at times eyeing at Arohi who seemed pissed off today..

As they decided to leave.. Both walked out.. And as Karthik was walking towards his car and before Karthik could ask why she lied.. She said.. " I can go home myself"

Karthik was taken back by her words..

" What happened to you? " he asked concerned..

She didn't reply..and started walking towards auto stand ignoring him...while Karthik stood there confused with her actions of avoiding him.. He remembered they haven't had a single conversation since morning.. Even when he called her neither did she pick the call nor did she bother to call back.. She didn't even inform him that she's leaving early from office to hospital.. Though they used to go together each day.. He was upset with her behaviour..

Karthik pov-After spending some time with Samar I offered to drop her to hostel as it was quite late but she declined.. N left alone.. I seriously didn't understand what was going on in her head as I realised that we haven't talked since morning even once trying to recollect what went wrong.. It wasn't safe allowing her to go all by herself at this time so I too headed back behind her and followed her auto n returned back the time I saw her reaching her room and switching on the lights.

I left home which a heavy heart today..even if I was at fault somewhere I felt I should have been told..her ignorance affected me.. And two days the trend continues.. Not a single word exchanged.. Each time I tried talking she ignored me.. Giving me yet a couple of sleepless nights further..

A/n - So what do you think is the reason for the ignorance? Any idea?
