Chapter 14-Jealous?? No! Ugh May be..

Arohi pov- Days have literally become so boring.. Every day goes on as same.. Tired of office too now.. I'm sitting at cafe.. With a mug of cold coffee in front of me.. Im just staring at people around.. Oh the reason..yeah it's none other than Karthik.. He dragged me saying he wants to drink coffee.. And as soon as we reached here his phone rang and since the past half an hour he's busy on in his phone talking to someone...He turned around to look at me and I literally gave him a death glare.. Oh so finally he's done.. He's coming to sit now.. After 40min of talk..

"I'm sorry... Woh mere friend ka call taa.."Karthik said..

"Isse accha toh ghar jaake banaake peelete coffee.. " arohi taunted and Karthik understood she was angry..

"I'm sorry arohi.. Woh tanisha baatein shuru karti hai toh usse rokna bohot mushkil hai.. " Karthik stated..

"Tanisha? "Arohi asked questionably..

"Haa dad ki friend ki beti hai...Brought up in US.." Karthik replied sipping his coffee smiling..

"Yeh naam kaha suna taa Maine? " arohi thought.. "And why is he smiling? Karthik ki princess..nai..puchu Kya? "

"Kuch kaha tumne? "Karthik enquired..

"Naii.."Arohi replied immediately..

All way through Karthik kept blabbering something.. But Arohi was trying hard to figure out where she heard the name...

Arohi pov-Last to last week aunty had said tanisha..yeah... That's the girl.. Uncles business partners daughter...
Since last one week Karthik had been most of the time on phone.. I was feeling ignored most of the time..on reaching hostel.. I directly went to bed and laid there.. Soon nishta came in..She understood my mood was off...
She enquired what happened but I didn't say... During dinner as well I was hardly able to eat...I don't know I felt bad for being ignored or was it because of Tanisha...After dinner we went down for a walk.. Nishta brought in two kulfis..Then she again enquired and I said everything that happened since a week..

"Till today when he was with you... U were happy.. Even others would have felt ignored then...Do u even remember when you spent Time with Anisha or me last? But when he's talking to someone else.. You are feeling ignored??" Nishta tried bringing out facts and changing her mood. ..

Nishta pov- Finally she has unknowingly started developing feelings for him? Wow cool...i so badly wanted to see them together but ab yeh kaunsi nayi item aagayi inke beech?

Arohi pov- Nishta is right..since the past few weeks I spend most of the time with Karthik.. Firstly Samar went then even nishta had gone to Paris...and since she came back we hardly sat together and talked.. I was in my own world.. Each time Anisha or Nishta plans out something I m with Karthik...and today when he ignored me I understood how even they would have felt.. I apologised to her.. And promised to go for shopping with her the next day..

Next day after office I'm preparing to leave for shopping when Karthik called.. He said he had booked tickets for movie... I apologised to him and told I'm going out with nishta today..

"Par tickets ka kya karu phir?" Karthik asked annoyed..

"Hmm... Tanisha ko bulalo.. :/ " Arohi replied spontaneously..

Karthik angrily hung the call....

Arohi pov- isse kya hua?kuch react b nai kia usse tease karne Pe.. Phone hi kaat di? Shayad kat gaya hoga..

Nishta called her...and she left.. The whole day went in shopping,enjoying out...They did night out at Anishas house as her parents were out.. They cooked and were involved in gossips...Arohi totally forgot about Karthik and the talks.. Even next day as it was holiday the girls decided to watch movie.. Again the day went without a talk to Karthik..

Karthik pov- Arohi said to go for movie with Tanisha..who is she for me that I will take her for movie? I cut the call so that I don't hurt her in any way in my anger.. But she too didn't call back that day.. I was expecting a call at least the next day.. But even that didn't happen... She's busy enjoying with her friends.. But yeah she looks a lot happy in those pics(he smiles seeing it) ... Anisha had posted their group pics together.. I smiled seeing her pics.. The fact that she's happy itself brings in happiness for me...

The next day in office I ignored her though it was very difficult for me to do so but I wanted to know if in any way did my ignorance effect her.. And to my surprise it did. She came to me and stood in front of me folding her hands angrily..

"What's the issue? "she asked..
Karthik ignored..

" I'm talking to u Karthik.. " She said a bit more angrily..

"Is it? I didn't know.. " Karthik said blankly..

"Why are you angry? Just for cancelling a plan? " :/ Arohi asked..

Again Karthik ignored..

" Since the past one week tum mere saath rehke b kaha te? Phone se hi toh chipke te...Do dinn mein kya apne dosto K saath gayi..tumhe gussa aa gaya?phir toh muje double gussa hona chahiye kyunki apne dosto k liye tum b muje ignore hi kar rahe te naa? kya taa uska naam haa tanisha..uske saath baatein hoti hai mujhe wait karwaake.. Kaha kuch Maine?fine...baite raho apna attitudes dikaake.. :/ " Arohi blurted out in anger and turned to leave..

Karthik pov- This is so not her.. So my ignorance affected her.. Haha she looks so cute with the red nose in anger.. Let me ignore for some more time.. Omg Now she's very angry.. Ohh god..i ignored her before too and she felt bad? Wait!! Tanisha? Y do I sense a jealousy in her tone? Is she jealous? She doesn't love me.. But jealous? Or does she? Or is it just as a possessive friend? Ahh..i better calm her down first.. OMG god she's going angrily..

" I'm sorry... Muje nai pata taa..i mean I didn't realise this.. I'm sorry.. Unknowingly I ignored u.. But.. Seriously I didn't mean to hurt u.. And mean toh filhaal sirf mazaak kar raha taa.. ( Arohi glared) but it's good at least u blurted out something in anger and I came to know what was in ur head.. " Karthik said smiling.....

Arohi pov- Since morning I tried to call Karthik but he would either cut the call or no response.. This was getting into my head now.. So I went to him and tried talking but he ignored.. Now that was enough.. I got angry and spoke to him.. But he smiled to me and the things he said made me shocked..He was just acting of being angry? Is he mad? I was thinking about him from morning why he isn't talking and he was acting?

"Can we go out for dinner tonight? " Karthik asked suddenly with a puppy face..Arohi didn't reply..

"I promise I won't b continuously on phone.. If you want you can take my phone till dinner is done.." Karthik said rolling his fingers through the hair..

" Okay will go after office" Arohi replied smiling..

Karthik pov-Finally she agreed.. That's like my arohi...who cools down faster than how she gets angry... I was happy... I know I unknowingly ignored her each time Tanisha called I got involved so much in the convos that I forgot that she's waiting at times... But I don't know why but I feel as if Tanisha is trying to get close to me... We used to have normal talks but nowadays she calls me most of the time.. Almost twice each day at times asking doubts or at times for time pass.. Girls are so damn complicated that it's hard to understand them..
By the way I'm happy.. It's unofficially our first date.. 😀 Had it been a official date I would have planned in so much but I don't want to bring in any kind of awkwardness in our relation..
