Chapter 6-Picnic III

As lunch was done... As decided Arohi indicated Anisha to go ahead with the plan..

"Guys yeh kya humlog itne boring kabse ho gaye? " Anisha said dissapointedly.. While all looked up at her a bit surprised..

"Actually I too felt.. Kabse buddhe logo k tarah chal hi rahe hai...ek Park se dusre park.. " arohi too joined in..

"Toh kya karein?pagalo K Tarah naache? " Renu asked annoyingly..."Maze karne gaye Tab toh tumhaari wajah se.." Renu continued glaring at Arohi gaining a death glare from Karthik forcing her to stop..

Arohi knew somewhere she was responsible for making things this way.. And Renu was right.. Anisha brought in the topic to divert everyone's attention..

"Kyu na hum basketball Khele?There's a court near Stone park there.. " Anisha said pointing towards the court..

"But ball? "Rishi enquired..

"Ma'am yeh raha ball" came in a resort staff..

"Lo iska b bandobast Ho gaya..Thank you" Anisha said excited..

Arohi was lost in Renu's words when Karthik noticed and placed his hands on her shoulder.. She gave a fake smile..and then walked to Anisha..

"Let's play it as boys v/s girls.. " Arohi said..

"kyu haarne ka itna shauk hai tumlogo ko? " Rishi said teasingly..." we have two best basketball players.. Shekhar and Karthik toh hum haarne se rahe.. "

Arohi and Anisha winked and exchanged smiles..

" You guys play.. Mein nai khel rahaa.." Karthik said trying to escape...

"Lo yeh toh abhi ladkiyo K saath khelne se darr gaya.." Anisha teased...

"Chalo Anisha inse nai hoga" Arohi joined in.. Tapping the ball..

"Karthik common yaar don't b a spoilsport! " Rishi tried convincing..

All started playing except Karthik... After a while.. Anisha whispered something to Rishi.. A few minutes later..

"Ouchhh!!! "Rishi cried holding his ankle.. "Lagta hai I sprained my legs.. "

"Leave it yaar...jabse aaye hai kisi na kisiko problem ho rahi hai.." Renu whined..

"No yaar.. Complete the game.." Rishi said..

"But tumlog toh haar jaaoge...waise b kya kaas khel rahe te..ab tumhaare Team mein ek aur jann kam hai.." Anisha teased..

"woh toh hum dekte hai..kaun haarta hai and kaun jeetata hai" came in Karthik voice.. And d trio exchanged smiles as their plan worked..

Soon the game started again.. N poorly girls weren't getting the ball at all this time...Karthik was able to defense well.. And finally both were just one point away from winning the game.. And both the scores stood equal.. Karthik was dribbling the ball and soon all the girls took positions and Karthik now had no option other than pass the ball... He couldn't risk at this.. He trusted only one person who was the best at shooting the ball..

"Shekhar!!!! " Karthik called out.. And passed the ball to him.. who shooted.. At that was as trusted...perfect shot.. The boy's team won.. All the girls were dissapointed except Anisha and Arohi who smiled seeing the next scene.. Where with the win.. Karthik hug shekhar ecstatically..but soon both realised and Shekhar walked away leaving a dissapointed Karthik there..

Rishi, Anisha and Arohi high fived each other as their plan worked.. But then arohi noticed shekhar going.. She went to Karthik..

"Jab galti realise Ho na woh guilt mein jeene se accha hai ki apologise Karlo.. Aur sorry keh jaane se koi chotta nai hotaa.." Arohi said and stood besides Karthik..
