Chapter 3-Messed up Relation?

Arohi pov- Mom says always start a new day with a new hope forgetting all the past things that hurts.. Even I'm of that believe.. But what if Samars prediction come true? No.. Never.. I know what am I supposed to do..

As usual arohi headed to office and was late..

"Ohh god aaj toh Dhruv Sir Muje kaccha Chabba jayenge.. Already late hu..aur bus bi nai aarahi aur na hi koi khaali Auto hai... " Arohi was tensedly talking to herself when her trance was broken by a car horn.

"What r u doing here?" Arohi asked surprised.

"First get in will talk on the way.. Else I will also be late to studio" Samar said..

Arohi had no option so she got in..

"I have a recording today.. Hope it goes well.. When my lucky charm is there in this state thought to meet her before heading towards the studio.. "
Arohi smiled hearing it..

Finally they reached Arohi office.. And as soon as they reached there arohi got down as she was late and was heading inside when Samar called out..

"Hey at least wish me luck!!" Samar shouted giving a what's this? kinda face.. .

Arohi bit her tongue ran back hugged him..

"All the best..i hope your recording goes well.. N yeah will wait for your treat.. Kanjoos dega naa? " Arohi asked breaking the hug and hitting his chest playfully.. .

He smiled pinched her nose.. "Aapki hukum sar aakhon par mohatarma.."
Both shared a laugh..

"Ab bye else Ravan will kill me.." saying so Arohi rushed in.. Samar smiled patting his head went to his car.. Adjusted his mirror.. and gave a naughty smile...

"So I was right... Same reaction today too Mr. Karthik???"he spoke adjusting his mirror and heading to the studio..

Karthik pov- I didn't realise how I woke up late today morning.. I was running late..and knowing well how punctual freak is our boss I took my car today in full speed.. As soon as I parked the car and was getting down I saw Arohi at the office door.. I smiled seeing her mood was fine today.. As I was about to get down I saw her running back and...and again she hugged him... Ohh he's the same person she hugged yesterday too.. Samar her Boyfriend.. I don't know why I felt bad seeing them together.. They were talking something.. Then both shared a laugh and she hit him playfully before heading back inside.. Samar too drove away but not before I saw his blush.. Why was he blushing so much? What did she say to make him blush? Karthik!!!! You are late!! My mind reminded me and I walked inside brushing aside the thoughts..

The whole day passed..Even during lunch arohi didn't say a word..but what did I do to annoy her? I thought...Then I remembered about yesterday's music player instance.. No she can't be annoyed for such petty reason.. Or is she? I thought..

During work my phone was continuously beeping.. So I took out to check and finally understood that my colleagues were planning an outing for tomorrow as its weekend to a resort... And my friend Shekhar was flirting with girls even in group chat.. I scrolled for the msgs to check if arohi is coming.. Soon Rishi who was organising it put a msg saying.. Karthik and Arohi please confirm the status if u guys r in?

Soon Karthik replied.. "We both r in.. " getting a shocking expression of shekhar from adjacent seat who stood up..asking Both???
Just as he was going to answer his phone rang at d desk..

"Who said I'm coming? " came in a voice..

"You saw the name written in group chat .. Karthik..didnt you?" Karthik smirked..

"But you know na Karthik my parents.." arohi replied..

"Leave it to me.. I will convince them..U want to come or not.. That's the only question.. " Karthik interrupted.. and arohi hummed..

"That's the only thing that matters.. Nothing else...Other things I would manage.. " Karthik said hearing her humming..

"Fine.. But only if u r able to convince them.. " Arohi said..

"Okay!!Trust me.. I will.. " Karthik replied smiling..

Arohi pov-All were discussing about tomorrow's outing.. I was reading the chats but didn't respond.. My dads a strict person and he doesn't like outing with friends and stuffs.. One of the reason I'm reserved.. I knew dad wouldn't approve my going...its easier convincing mom but not dad...He's over protective about his daughters.. So I didn't respond.. But soon came in a message asking if I and Karthik r joining as all others had updated the status.. I was thinking as to what to reason them to say NO when I saw Karthik reply saying v both r in... I was pissed off seeing his reply.. Who is he to tell I'm coming... I immediately picked the phone and dialled the intercom...i don't know how much ever pissed off I'm...i can't get angry in the talks...no one understands from my words I'm Angry.. Or is it just bcoz Karthik is on the other side? I asked him who said I was coming.. He started joking around.. Though I smiled.. I didn't show up.. I tried making him understand... But he said he will convince dad.. He asked me if I wanted to go?unknowingly I hummed but thought he didn't hear but he replied That's all that mattered others he would manage.. I asked him to convince dad first.. I knew he wouldn't b able to do it.. Then why think further though I wanted to go but not by lieing to my parents..

Arohi and Nishta(room mate) were gossiping and returning back to room after dinner...Arohi had left her phone in room... As soon as they entered the room.. Her phoned just stopped ringing..

"Who called? Whenever I forget to take my phone someone calls up.. " Arohi said annoyed and Nishta laughed..

"So take your boyfriend along everytime.. " Nishta said getting a glare from Arohi..

"By boyfriend I meant the phone.." Nishta said showing her tongue..

"Whom do you think I was talking about? "

"Not again Nishta..plss.. " Arohi said pissed of..taking out the phone and checking the numbers.. And she surprised exclaimed.. "Karthik? "

Nishta who was inside the washroom came out and started laughing..
"Idiot I was talking about the call not your answer.. " Arohi said glaring at her..

Soon her phone beeped..

Msg. From karthik
"Call up mom and talk to her soon.."

Arohi pov-Now what has this idiot done that mom wants to talk to me? I thought.. I thought of calling him up and asking but soon came in moms call...and I talked to her..or rather was playing KBC where she was going on questioning and I was continuously answering.. All regarding the picnic.. As to where are we going? How many days?who all are coming.. Etc etc... Moms and dad get so tensed for their daughters.. As soon as I finished answering all her questions she was relieved

"Dad agreed!!Karthik convinced him.." came in mom's voice hearing which I felt like squealing.. But then I didn't bcoz I know the phone would be in speaker mode and dad too would be hearing so I had to behave.. Soon the call ended after giving me n number of instructions..

"yayyy!! I'm going tomorrow..." arohi squealed after hanging up the call..

Nishta pov- Arohi was so busy answering.. And her changing expression at times happy..at times tensed.. At times pissed..was worth watching..i already call her expression queen.. Bcoz each and everything is written out on her face.. As soon as she kept the phone she squealed... Yayyyyyy..im going.. N I understood her dad agreed or rather Karthik convinced them.. She shares everything with me.. About office.. About Karthik.. About Samar.. Everything.. Even I do.. We are more of like sisters rather than room mates.. She was so happy after the news that she swirled me around like a small kid who would have won a trophy and was super duper excited ..

"At least thank the person bcoz of whom you are able to go.. " Nishta said amid the squealing.. And Arohi remembered about Karthik and unknowingly a smile crept in....
