Chapter 5-Picnic II

Arohi Pov- I was thinking about Karthik when all of a sudden i felt as if i was pushed and soon i landed in water...I was feeeling choked up..fear struck me..I didnt know how come im here..but i was at a worst stage..shivers ran through my spine..i felt like my hands and legs becoming numb...i was feeling breathless...but soon i was out of water though physically ...but i was still feeling suffocated as if someone is strangling me...and im not able to do anything of it...I could see Karthik in front of me now..I wanted to tell him..but no words came out..only tears gushed down my cheeks..i was not even able to breathe properly.. .he too was saying something..i can see his lips moving..but i cant hear him..why??am i going to die?? suddenly things started becoming blurrr...and soon it was complete darkness and silence...but before that i heard someone shouting my name..

Karthik jumped into the pool..and all started laughing again seeing his reaction..

"The pool isnt that deep karthik that she will drown" shekhar said amused seeing his reaction and soon everyone laughed..but soon they all realised the mistake..karthik picked her out of water and made her sit ..she was trembling...her eyes were red...she was taking very heavy breaths..Karthik tried to calm her..

"shhh....u r safe arohi...nothing happened to u...c..u r alright.. "karthik said assuringly holding her hands tightly..he could see her red eyes welled up..and soon tears gushed down..

"what happened to her?"rishi asked concerned..

"she's suffering from aquaphobia dammit..and this idiot.."karthik said glaring at shekhar..

but karthik suddenly felt his hands being pulled and realised that arohi passed out..

"Arohi!!!!!!!!" karthik shouted supporting her head which was about to hit the ground..

All panicked...Ritika tried to wake her by sprinkling water but it didn't help..

Shekhar pov- We were talking about karthik and i asked arohi if she didn't know about karthiks girlfriend as they have been friends since long karthik said yesterday when i asked him about him saying they both were in for picnic..but i didnt get any reply..i turned back to find arohi lost somewhere..i went near her and called her again..but she still was in her own world..i saw she was walking near the swimming pool and an idea cropped in my mind..and i slightly pushed her to the pool..she was shocked and we all started laughing..but soon someone else too jumped into the pool out of no where..and i realised it was karthik..and i shouted..that the swimming pool isn't that deep that she will drown..and again all of us started laughing..but soon i realised i have done one of the worst joke with her...

Karthik picked her up in his arms and took her inside to the room...and laid her own bed.. His eyes welled up seeing her state.. He soon got up.. And found Anisha and Renu..

"Please get her changed.. She's soaking wet.. Else she might get ill.. Meanwhile I will try to get a doctor.. " Karthik said to Anisha..he turned around to look at Arohi once and then left from there..

As soon as Karthik came out of the room.. Rishi came near him..

"I have called a doctor.. He will be here in some time.. Hope she will fine.. " Rishi said patting karthiks shoulder who was almost on the verge of crying by now..

"I'm sorry... Muje nai pataa taa..mein toh bas mazaak mein.." Shekhar was trying to clarify to everyone.. Hearing which Karthik lost his temper..

"Har ek cheez mazaak nai hoti dammit...Uski haalat dekhi na tune..ki woh kitna darr gayi ti? " Karthik fumed

"Par muje todi na pata taa.. " shekhar reasoned but his words were cut off by Karthik.

"Agar meri arohi ko kuch b hua na...kuch b... mein bhool jaunga ki tu mera dost hai.. " Karthik warned holding shekhars collar.. His eyes were red..n no one had ever seen Karthik so angry..
