A pov- It was going to be afternoon.Everyone would reach back home in sometime.I was sitting in hall bored.Idiot karthik is decorating auntys room to surprise her..but hasn't allowed me to get up from this chair.ahnnnn enough I'm going now.I slowly headed to the room to find the room turned around upside down.Mr. Mess maker.
This is the way you gonna give surprise? Arohi asked sarcastically "I don't know about surprise but aunty will get a shock for sure."
Karthik pov- Slowly we both started decorating the room.I was afraid if she will give pressure to her leg so made her sit on bed and asked her what to do and I like a obedient student followed her instruction and finally cleared all the mess and decorated the room.By then the cake came which I ordered.and now we were waiting for my mom to come.
Arohi pov- he was so excited to celebrate auntys bday.Just like an impatient child he stood walking around at the door eyeing the gate for all to arrive.As soon as his mom came he went in and dragged her to the room.
"Ohh woww!!! Your choice is soo good arohi!" Gayatri exclaimed hearing which karthik and arohi looked at each other boggled." I'm speaking about the decoration..My son is very bad at it.Had he done it he would have messed the whole room."
Hearing it arohi smirked.
"Mom!!! I only did it for you.If you want ask arohi" karthik said sadly to which arohi nodded.
"Ohh my son..thanks to you too but I'm expecting a gift from you today..and we will discuss about it after cake cutting" said Gayatri smirking
Karthik pov-mom wants a gift?? I hope its not gonna be something tough bcoz she's giving a naughty smile.And I know that naughty grin isn't safe for me.
Finally cake cutting was done and all fed each other.As all settled down after having cake.Nandini was heading towards kitchen when Gayatri stopped her.
"Nandini!! Today my son will prepare lunch for all of us." Gayatri said smirking and karthik was shocked.
"Mom ...me and lunch?? You got to be kidding. (Gayatri nodded negatively) You know very well I don't even know to make tea for myself" Karthik whispered.
"I'm asking for my birthday gift my son" Gayatri said acting to be upset.
"Mom I will assist you in kitchen" karthik tried convincing.
"You are gonna do it all by yourself karthik without anyone helping you out." Gayatri replied grinning.
