Chapter FIVE!

 

Lucy's mom went outside to talk the cop while the girls stayed in and straightened up the house "Mom I'm so sorry I didn't know he would find us" said Emma with tears in her eyes.

"Its ok honey I'm alright we shouldn't left sooner" replied Emma's mom Lucy cleaned up the broken glass from the vas that Emma's stepdad broke when he slapped Emma off of him.

Lucy's mom came back in the house "They said he will be sentenced to seven years prison" said Lucy's mom "That's great that will be enough time to get enough money for our new house we can be FREE" said Emma's mom "That is wonderful" Emma said with a smile "I'm happy he wouldn't be around you guys" Lucy said.

Hanna said "I'm the one who called the cops" Everyone just stared at her then Emma's mom ran to her "Thank you Thank you" she said as she hugged her tight "Your welcome" replied Hanna.

"I think I'll go home now" said Hanna "Okay be safe" they all said "Ok bye everybody" said Hanna "Who's hungry?" said Lucy's mom "Me" Emma and Lucy said "Okay then ladies wanna come with me to get pizza?" asked Lucy's mom "No thanks Mom how about you take Emma's mom with you?" said Lucy "Okay want to come?" asked Lucy's mom "Sure I guess I can go for a ride" Emma's mom said "Okay we will be back" Lucy's mom said as she and Emma's mom walked threw the front door.

The girls went upstairs to catch up on homework "Hey how about we go to the mall tomorrow?" asked Lucy "Yeah that sounds great" said Emma "We can go to the movies too if you'd like" said Lucy "Sure" replied Emma then they continued on homework until Lucy's mom called them for dinner "GIRLS!! DINNER!!" she said the girls put their homework away and went downstairs.

Emma's mom was already at the table waiting for the girls "What's for dinner?" Emma asked "Well for us we are having Ham and Mac and Cheese" said Lucy's mom "But for Lucy she will have pasta" said her mom as they all sat down "Thank you" said Emma "Thank you so much" said Emma's mom "Yeah thanks mom" said Lucy "Your welcome guys" Lucy's mom replied.

They all ate and laughed "Me and Emma were planning to go to the mall and to the movies after is that okay with you guys?" asked Lucy "Sure Honey" said Lucy's mom "Yeah go ahead" said Emma's mom with a smile "Wow I haven't seen your smile in a longtime" said Emma "I know" Emma's mom replied with a smile once again they all finished eating "I'll take your guys plates" said Lucy as she walked toward the sink with the plates Emma got up to help wash them.

"Hey I'll help you" said Emma

"Thanks so much" said Lucy

"How about I text Hanna and see if she wants to go with us tomorrow?" asked Lucy

"Okay that will be great" replied Emma

{Text Hanna Banana}

*Hey! Hanna Banana I was wondering if you'd like to go to the mall and to the movies with me and Emma tomorrow it will be FUN!*

"Hanna Banana?" Emma said

"Yeah, its my nickname for Hanna" said Lucy

"Oh, does she have a nickname for you?" asked Emma

"I don't really know I really didn't ask her" said Lucy

Lucy felt her pocket vibrate Oh that might be Hanna Lucy said as she dries her hands she turns on her phone and it was Hanna she opens the text and reads it.

{Text From Hanna Banana}

*SURE!! that would be awesome see ya then*

"What did she say?" asked Emma

Lucy handed her the phone so she can put dishes away "Oh cool" said Emma "Well this will be fun" said Emma as she closed the text message Lucy went into the fridge "Want some dessert?" asked Lucy "Sure what do you have?" asked Emma "We have Chocolate  Ice-Cream in the freezer" said Lucy "We also have Sprinkles and Chocolate dressing in the cabinet" Lucy said "Okay cool I'll have some of that please" Emma said as she got out the Sprinkles and Chocolate dressing, while Lucy got out some bowls and spoons.

Emma walked into the dinning room "Want some Ice-cream guys?" she asked "No Thanks" they said "We are going to go out we would be home late so make sure you guys are carful" said Lucy's mom "Okay we will" Emma said as she turned to walk back to the kitchen she walked back in the kitchen and Lucy was waiting at the kitchen counter with the Ice-Cream.

"Hey your mom and my mom are going out for a while but they would be back late" said Emma "Okay that's fine" said Lucy as she handed Emma the bowl "Thanks" Emma said as she dove her spoon into the ice cream Lucy looked at the clock "Wow its already 10:45" she said "Really?" asked Emma "Yes how about we go up stairs and get ready for tomorrow" Lucy said "Okay lets go" Emma said as she walked out the kitchen with her bowl in her hand.

Lucy followed her up the stairs and went down the hall to her room Lucy went into her closet and got out a blue and white striped dress and turned to Emma with a smile "How does this look?" she asked "Wow! I bet you'd look stunning in that dress" she replied "Why thank you" Lucy said.

"Umm Lucy can I ask something?" Emma said

"Sure why not" Lucy replied with a smile

"What would you do if someone liked you but was afraid of your reaction?" Emma asked

"Well I don't know it all depends on who they're" Lucy said

"Oh Okay well umm what if it was a girl?" asked Emma looking at the floor and biting her lip

"Why I'd say yes" Lucy said with a smile

"Really?" Emma asked lifting her head up and staring at Lucy

"Yes! really" Lucy said

There was a moment of silence in the room then Emma said "Lucy would you umm would you" she couldn't get the words out.

"Yes I would be glad too" Lucy said

"You would!!" Emma said looking confused

Lucy looked at Emma and smiled and nodded her head "Wow I didn't think you would say yes" Emma said "Well I did" Lucy said twisting her brown curly hair "Lets get your stuff ready for tomorrow" Lucy said "Okay" replied Emma as she went into her bag and pulled out some clothes "How about this?" asked Emma as she took out some blue jeans and a ripped shirt "Oh No Honey not that" Lucy said "Why not?" asked Emma "You cant wear ripped clothes to wear were going" said Lucy "That's why we are going to the mall to get you some more clothes" Lucy said with a smile.

"Okay then" Emma said with a smile "Would your mom care if we were together?" asked Emma "I'm sure she wouldn't" Lucy said "Would your mom care?" Lucy asked "She already knows I like you I told her I wanted to be with you I talked about you all the time when I was at home" Emma said "Oh and what did she say?" asked Lucy "She said well as long as I'm happy she will be okay with it" Emma said "But Howard he was a different story" Emma replied "What happened" asked Lucy "He told me a was not human and I was a mistake and that my dad died because he was sick of me and that he hated me being the way I am today" Emma said "Oh dear I'm so sorry" Lucy said walking toward her and hugging her "Its fine I'm okay" Emma said.
