Chapter twenty-one

Lucy,

Come on Hanna pick up the damn phone.

Lucy dials her number again Ring, ring Lucy waits for the line to pick up. "Please leave your message for Hanna" the line says. "UGH!" Lucy says hanging up and running her hands threw her hair.

Lucy lets out a sigh of frustration Emma walks in the room with her pretty pajamas on. "Hey beautiful" Emma says "Hi" Lucy replies "Did she pick up?" Emma asks "No," Lucy says "Awe. I'm sorry" Emma says sitting down on the bed.

Lucy lays down and stares at her Galaxy ceiling "Love you" Emma says. cuddling her "Love you too" Lucy says. Wrapping Emma in her arms, "Try tomorrow" Emma says. "I will, but I doubt she will pick up I'm sure she wouldn't show for school" Lucy says looking at Emma. "Mhm, yeah your right" Emma says looking back at Lucy "I wish none of this happened" Lucy says grabbing Emma's hand and interlocking their hands together.

"Me either babe" Emma says kissing Lucy's hand.

Hanna,

Hanna leans against her wall then slides down to the floor hugging her knees. There's a knock on Hanna's door "Are you hungry honey?" her mom asks. "No" Hanna replies. "Can I come in?" her mom asks "Mhm" Hanna says. Hanna's mom walks in and see's Hanna on the floor hugging her knees "What's wrong honey, did you and Brandon get in a fight?" she asks.

"No, mom Brandon's dead" Hanna says tears making their way to the floor.

"Oh, I'm so sorry" Hanna's mom says.

Hanna gets up and cries into her mom's arms "Sh. I got you baby" her mom says. "I miss him mom" Hanna sobs. "I know baby" Hanna's mom says "Why did he have to go?" Hanna asks tears escaping her eyes and on to her mom's shirt.

Hanna's mom doesn't reply she just lets her daughter cry in her arms. Hanna continues to cry softly while her mom runs her fingers threw her hair.

"Brandon, please come back" Hanna whisper's

"What's that?" her mom asks.

"Nothing" Hanna replies and leans against her wall.

"Okay, I will be down stairs if you need me" her mom says before getting up to leave.

"Mom" Hanna says.

"Yes?" her mom asks.

"I love you" Hanna says.

"Love you too sweetheart" her mom says smiling then shutting the door behind her.

Hanna let out a sigh, "Can you please talk to me?" Hanna says. He wont come, "He might" Hanna snaps. He isn't and you know it "Shut up!" Hanna yells.

Calm down, Hanna

Brandon?

Nope, still the voice in your head

Ugh!

He will probably show up tomorrow

Hopefully

Hanna lays on her bed and stares at her ceiling memories of Brandon flow threw her mind.

Lucy and Emma,

They continue to cuddle but they eventually fall asleep. Lucy wakes up in the middle of the night she sits up in the bed. She looks over and see's Emma sleeping still then she turns to the clock. That rests on her nightstand and it read 5:35am she lets out a sigh and climbs out of bed.

She opens her room door and walks down stairs and into the kitchen to get some water. She then finds a note on the counter she turns on the light and reads the note.

Lucy,

I will be back later I have to stay at work for a while, something's come up call me if you need anything. *Hugs and Kisses*

Mom,

Lucy sighs and walks back to her room. Emma is still sleeping she smiles and climbs back in bed. She wraps her arms around Emma's waist. Emma groans and moves closer her eyes still shut. Lucy listens to Emma's soft breathing until she falls asleep.

Hanna,

Breaths in and out as the memories of Brandon's smile flow pass her mind. She curls into a ball under her covers as she remembers the first day they made eye contact in the mall.

Get over it, he is gone.

HOW!

he is dead Hanna there is nothing you can do to bring him back.

DONT YOU THINK I KNOW THAT!

Hanna's stomach growls,

You need to eat.

I don't want to.

It's not good for you body Hanna.

Do you think I care?

Hanna you need to eat just eat

I SAID NO!

Stomach growls more,

Fine, Brandon will be sad if you don't.

Eating wont bring him back.

I know, nothing will.
