Chapter Eighteen!
The girls soon fall asleep side by side Emma's arms wraped around Lucy's waist. Lucy wakes up to find Emma staring at her."What?" Lucy asks "You're so beautiful that's what" Emma replies "Oh, Thanks babe" Lucy says giving Emma a kiss.
They both get up and walk down the hall and into the kitchen. They see Emma's mom and Lucy's dad in the kitchen talking. "Good Morning" They say to the girls "Morning" The girls replie. "Where's mom?" Lucy asks her dad "She is getting ready for work" he replies."Oh,okay" Lucy says sitting down at the table Emma goes to into the cabnets and gets out stuff for breakfast.
"What do you want to eat babe?" Emma asks "Pancakes" Lucy replies smiling "Okay, I am going to make Eggs too" Emma says. Emma's mom and Lucy's dad continue to talk then Lucy gets up and walks towards Emma who is mixing pancake batter in a bowl. Lucy goes behind Emma and whisper's "Your beautiful" in her ear and Emma smiles and turns a little to give Lucy a kiss.
Emma's mom and Lucy's dad walk into the living room and Lucy's mom walks out their bedroom. She says "Hey, I'm off to work love you" then she turns to leave in a hurry. "I'm asuming she is late" Emma's mom says.
Lucy smiles and kisses her back, Emma continues to mix the pancake batter. Until she feels like it's good enough to pour in the pan. Lucy gets out Orange juice for them and two cups. Then grabs syrup and walks to the table and places them down. Emma continues to cook the pancakes and then whippes up her eggs in a bowl as she hum's a song.
"So, we will go to school today right?" Lucy asks.
"Yeah, but we might be late it's already 7:40" Emma replies.
"Okay, that's okay" Lucy says.
Emma smiles and says "Yeah, I know"
Lucy's dad walks in the kitchen and says we is going to be out and will return when they get out of school. Emma's mom sits on the couch and turns the T.V. on and it turns to the news.
{T.v.}
There's been a horrible accident this morning a student was driving to school when he was in a terrible crash.
Emma's mom watches the T.V with curious eyes. {T.V. continues} His tires lost controll all of a sudden and he crashed into a tree and he couldnt escape in time. "Oh,dear" Emma's mom says.
{T.V.}
His name is Brandon Love, his family is devasted by this truly horrifying accident . (Picture of Brandon pops up) He died at 7:35 am. Lucy notices the picture. She walks into the living room asking what happened. Emma's mom pauses the T.V. and says "He got into a really bad accident ". Lucy stares at the photo on the T.V. screen. "Oh, Hanna's gonna be so mad" Lucy says and pulls out her phone to dial her number.
Emma is still cooking unaware of what happened. "Hello?" Hanna says "Hanna, um Brandon is he uh he died"Lucy says. Tears rolling down her cheeks,
