Chapter Thirty!
Emma and Lucy lay on the bed side by side. Hanna sits down in Lucy's fluffy blue chair and continues to laugh at Emma's joke.
"Was it that funny?" Emma asks.
"Yeah" Hanna says laughing.
"It really wasnt" Lucy teases
Hanna zones out all the laughter and talking she stares at the door. Emma and Lucy continue to talk and laugh. Hi, Hanna. Brandon? Hanna says. Yeah it's me. Hanna stares at him move closer and closer towards her.
You know it gets pretty lonely up there.
Yeah I.I bet Hanna says.
I saw you guys at the funeral.
You did? Hanna asks.
Yep, I was right by your side.
Small tears escape Hanna's eyes as she stares into Brandon's wonderful eyes. Don't cry, I'll come see you more often. Okay Hanna says whipping her tears. Ugh. I'll be there with you one day Hanna says trying to give a smile but ends up frowning. I know, I'll be waiting for you baby.
"Ugh. Hanna who are you whispering to?" Lucy asks.
"Uh. Nobody" Hanna replies.
"You sure, you've been whispering to yourself like crazy" Emma says.
It's time for me to leave I love you Hanna. Love you too Hanna says smiling then looking at Emma and Lucy.
"Who are you talking too Hanna?" Emma asks.
"Brandon" Hanna says looking at the floor.
"He is dead Hanna what do you mean?" Lucy asks walking towards the chair.
"I can see him and talk to him, he comes to me and we talk" Hanna says still looking at the floor.
"Was he just here?" Emma asks.
"Yeah, he isn't now he had to leave" Hanna says looking up.
"It's just your imagination" Lucy says.
"No, It's not I SEE HIM!" Hanna yells.
"Don't upset her babe" Emma says frowning.
"If you can then show me" Lucy says.
"I.I CANT!" Hanna yells.
"See told you" Lucy says.
"Brandon, come back just for a minute" Hanna whispers.
They wait in silence "This is so stupid he isn't gonna come" Lucy says looking annoyed.
"Shut up" Emma says.
"Why? you know its true Emma" Lucy says then turning to Hanna and giving her a look.
"Just leave her alone" Emma says.
Hanna gets up and walks out the door. Leaving the girls in complete silence.
