Chapter Twenty Five!

Emma and Lucy walk to the ticket booth line. Waiting for the man to get done buying his tickets for his kids. They wait patiently until he pays and steps out the way for Emma and Lucy.

"How many tickets?" the guy behind the booth asks.

"twenty please" Lucy says.

"Would you want wrist bands for $35.00 so you can ride free all day until 1:00?" he asks.

Lucy looks at Emma and says "Want them?".

"Sure" Emma replies.

"Okay, I'll get two wrist bands" Lucy says.

"Okay that'll be 70 dollars" he says getting the bands.

"Okay" Lucy says giving him a 100 dollar bill.

Emma holds her wrist out for him to attach the band as well as Lucy. " thirty dollars is your change" the guy behind the booth says handing the money to Lucy. "Thanks" Lucy says holding her wrist out as he attaches the band then grabbing her money.

They walk away and head to the rides. "What ride do you wanna go on first love?" Emma asks. "Which ever one you want too" Lucy replies. While she holds her hand and continue to walk.

"I dunno though" Emma says.

"How about we go on the Demon Drop" Lucy says.

Emma looks at the line for the ride and see's its not that long. "Sure" Emma says smiling as they walk towards it. Lucy smiles and kisses Emma's lips "Have you been on it before?" Emma asks. "Yeah, before my dad went into the army but I don't remember what it was like" Lucy replies as they stand in line. The people in front of them move up a little they continue to wait in line until Emma's phone rings.

"Hello?" Emma says answering the phone.

"Hey, where are you?" Her mom asks.

"At the fireworks with Lucy why?" Emma asks looking at Lucy who is waiting still.

"Oh, you scared me" her mom says.

"I'm sorry, we are okay though mom don't worry" Emma says.

Lucy looks at Emma with a confused look on her face. "It's nothing" Emma mouths Lucy nods her head meaning she understands.

"Okay, love you" her mom says.

"Love you too mom" Emma says.

The line goes dead.

Lucy and Emma walk up in the line. The girls in front of them giggle and talk about the ride. Lucy lets out a sigh, "What's wrong?" Emma asks "They are getting annoying" Lucy replies. Emma rolls her eyes then smiles.

The girls in front of them move up and give the dude their tickets. Then they get in the ride Emma and Lucy hold their wrists up and the dude nods. For them to go they get in the ride side by side. The safety things go down and they get buckled in. Emma holds Lucy's hand Lucy smiles and says "Don't me scared".

Emma gives a small smile, and says "I wont".

The ride goes up so that they are 131 feet in the air. Emma looks down and whisper's to Lucy "I'm scared" Lucy looks at her and before she could say anything the ride goes down FAST!.

"Ahhh" Emma screams.

Lucy laughs and holds her hand. The ride is done and the safety thingy's go up. "That was FAST!" Emma says looking at Lucy.

"Mhm, I know" Lucy says smiling.

"It scared the hell out of me" Emma says frowning.

"I know" Lucy replies as they walk away.
