Chapter fifteen!
Lucy falls face first on her bed she screams into a pillow. Emma can hear her muffled scream from down stairs. Lucy sits up and leans against the wall and tears fall from her eyes to her cheek, she doesn't even bother to wipe them. Emma gets up and walks upstairs and down the hall to Lucy's room she just stares at the door. Lucy takes deep breathes in and out in and out Emma knocks on the door softly "Go, away" Lucy chokes out "I. I'm sorry" Emma says.
As she hears Lucy's sobbing threw the door. Lucy sinks into her covers Eyes red from crying after a few minutes Emma comes in the room. Lucy is still under the covers "Lucy?" Emma says Lucy doesn't bother to even sit up and look. "I. I'm sorry sweetheart" Emma says Lucy lets out a sigh and sits up her cheeks stained with the trail of tears. Lucy looks at Emma and Emma sits down on the bed next to her she wraps her arms around Lucy.
Lucy cries into her arms her snot and tears flowing down her cheek and onto Emma's neck. "It's okay" Emma says holding Lucy in her hands and rocking her "N.no it's not" Lucy says. "It's my fault, I should have never encouraged you to come" Emma says "It's not your fault babe" Lucy says. Emma sits there waiting for Lucy to finish "I.I just understand why she did that" Lucy says "It's alright, she is just worried about your education" Emma says "I know, but she isn't my mom so why would she care?" Lucy asks.
"I.I don't know" Emma says
"She'll get over it" Lucy says
"I hope so" Emma says
Lucy smiles and says "I know she will"
"Good" Emma says
Lucy wipes her tears and sits up Emma holds her hand and Lucy turns and her lips meet Emma's. They then depart and then Lucy says "I love you" Emma smiles and says "I love you too" "Is everything okay?" Lucy's dad asks from the other side of the door "Yeah, dad don't worry" Lucy says. "Okay, Good night" her dad replies Lucy and Emma sit there until they hear footsteps walk away from the door and down the hall and hear the door shut.
What if she never forgives me,
Then what?
I'm so stupid
"We should get some rest" Emma says laying down on Lucy's bed "Yeah, you're right" Lucy says giving Emma a smile. The girl's lay there listening to each other's breathing Emma wraps her arms around Lucy's waist and Lucy closes her eyes and drifts off into Dreamland. Emma lays there until she is hears Lucy's soft snoring and then she smiles and closes her eyes. The girls sleep peacefully.
