Torn between two paths,
Unsure where to turn,
I turn to you for guidance,
For there is much I have
Yet to learn.
My heart is split
At its centre;
No sutures to repair
Its broken seams.
I created my own nightmare
And disguised it as a dream.
I never thought it
Would be easy,
But I never fathomed
It would be this hard;
For every day I spend without you
Is a day I risk
Falling apart.
So, tell me
Where do I go from here?
My logic is clouding in fear.
And though I am sure
The message is quite clear,
I beg and I plead
That you please tell me
Where I am supposed
To go from here.
