What odd creatures humans are.
We enter each other's lives
Only to vanish instantly;
Leaving cuts along our backs
And scars along our hearts.We love one day
And wake to hatred the next.
We torture each other
With mere words upon our breath.We build bonds with one another;
We share and we connect.
But we turn everything to a competition;
Always wondering who is best.
