Back to Dean.

The worst thing about this coma was that i knew everything that was going on. I heard and felt everything but my body wouldn't catch up with my brain. So i couldn't respond. The first time Cas said he loved me i wanted so bad to take him in my arms and hug him and tell him all the things i loved about him too. But the best i could do was a slight hand twitch. it was torture.
It was torture to hear him talk to me every day, without me being able to answer. It was torture to hear him and Anna and not be able to hold either of them. It was torture to hear Cas being a dad to my daughter, but not be able to see it. I always knew he would be a good parent.
It was torture to hear his heartbreak every time he'd whisper that he misses me. I was right there all along. But i couldn't show that to him. It all sucked.
It sucked when Lisa came by one day when Cas was at work and told me she needs her best friend back.
But when i heard Anna basically call Cas her dad, i knew i had to fight me absolute hardest to wake up. I want to see my boyfriend turn into her second dad. I want to be there for that. He must've been so worn out and tired. He's been single most of his life, and he hasn't had kids to take care of, though he's a natural.
When he fell asleep holding my hand, after telling me what he misses most about me, i knew. I don't know how, but i knew that i was going to be waking up today. Most people, after waking up from a coma, they're exhausted. I wasn't. I fought so hard to be awake, i'm not going to sleep. Suddenly though, as i woke up, everything hurt 10 times more than it did when i was out.
I put my fingers through Cas' hair for a while until he woke up. "Dean?" was the first thing he said.
"Hey." I half smiled, oh boy my throat is dry.
"Dean!" he basically yelled. "Oh you're awake." he put his hands against my cheeks. I leaned into his touch. "You're awake." His eyes started watering. I was about to say something but he said "Are you okay? Should i call the nurse or has she already been in? Oh i have to call Sam." he rubbed his eyes. I watched him.
"Cas." I tried to get close to him but it hurt to move. "shh. I'm fine. I'm here. I heard everything while i was out. It's okay." I said. "help me sit up." I asked. this is gonna be a fucking pain in the ass.
His eyes seem bluer. God ive missed his face. He needs to shave. Oh his hair scruff is kinda hot though. his voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"You heard everything?" he sniffled.
I nodded. "Everything. I love you too." I whispered.
His cheeks turned pink, but he leaned forward and kissed me. And this time i could actually kiss him back.
After our kiss he went to get a nurse. She came back, and she gave me a warm smile. "Welcome back to the real world." She said, chuckling.
"Why thank you." said quietly.
"Alright im gonna run a few tests. That okay?" She asked.
I nodded slowly.
"Alright so we'll start with changing this bandage and then we'll get into the fun stuff." She laughed.
She changed the bandages on my face, then sat in front of me. Cas sat beside me and took my not-broken hand.
"Alright, follow the light wth your eyes okay, not your head." she said.
I intertwined my fingers with Cas' "Okay" I said quietly.
I tried to follow the light, but it hurt my eyes, so i looked away. "It hurts my eyes." I whispered. My head was killing me.
"Thats normal. Here, let's do it like this. Follow my finger." she said, i did for a bit, but it got to giving me a bigger headache so i sighed.
"My head hurts too much to do that." I muttered. Cas rubbed my back.
"I'll get the doctor then. hold on please." She said.
"Wait." I said, i looked over at Cas then back to her. "Doctor Who?" I smiled. Cas laughed.
She even giggled. "Good to know you've still got your sense of humour." She smiled, then went to go get a doctor.
She left. Cas kissed my cheek, down to my lips and just pecked me there.
I smiled and looked at him. "I can't believe you had to pretend to be my
husband." I grinned.
"Yep. Everyday. I had to make up and excuse for why we didn't have the same last name." He chuckled.
I smiled. "What were the excuses?" I asked.
"We just got married and our name is hyphenated so neither of us thought it necessary." He said.
"Oh. Smart." i smiled, the doctor came back. He said he needed Cas to leave the room.
"I'll be right outside okay?" he kissed my cheek before he left.
After the doctor ran some tests, Cas came back in. The doctor said i have some brain damages, but they shouldn't be as bad when the concussion heals. The doctor left after running the tests. "I called Sam. Hes gonna come by with Anna." He said, sitting next to me on the bed.
"Really?" I smiled, leaning against him.
"Really." he wrapped his arm around me carefully. i looked at him. He looked down at me. "Do you remember what happened before the accident?" He asked me.
"Not really no." i answered honestly.
He rubbed my back as we lay there. "Oh. lots of people from work brought you stuff, and some students too." He said.
"Really? Show me!" I grinned. He showed me the flowers, teddy bears and gifts.
I smiled at all of it.
"Daddy!!!!" I heard Anna, so i carefully turned to look at her. She climbed up on the bed.
"Hi sweetheart. How are you?" I smiled, kissing her cheek.
"I'm good. i missed you." She pouted.
"Well im here now." I smiled.
"Are you coming home?" she frowned.
"um, yeah, tonight."
"Okay." She nodded.
Cas told me he and Sam were gonna go get some coffee and bring me back some food, i nodded and gave Cas a small kiss.
"Careful with daddy, he's got lots of ouchies." Cas told Anna, kissing the top of her head before he left. I smiled at that.

There now it makes more sense, sorry about that confusion, i pre-write my chapters and i posted the wrong one. ANYWAYS, yeah i really like this chapter and think I wrote it really well, so please comment nice things! I'd really appreciate it.
