It had been almost an hour since I fell off the boat and I couldn't help thinking that somehow I would never see him again.

I rolled onto my stomach as the little lifeboat rocked in the oceans waves.

Great, I thought, as I covered my mouth in nausea.

I always had a weakness for small boats and hard waves. I loved ships and stormy weather always made me feel cozy, but put them together and you might as well give me a bucket and step away.

I peered up and managed to spot a strange looking island ahead.

I should get to the island before the wind picks up and blows the rain down, I thought.

I leaned over into the water and started to paddle the sea water with my hand.

Was that..? No.. I told myself as I thought I saw a big shadow lurking in the water.

But when I saw it again I quickly pulled my arm out and jumped into the middle of the boat.

"Why is it always me.." I moaned.

The slippery fin of a cunning shark popped out of the salty water.

"No, no... please go away.." I whimpered as it circled my tiny boat.

The island was getting closer but because I didn't have a paddle, by the time I got there I would be fish food.

I quickly paced around the little boat and prayed aloud.

"Please, please, please, please, PLEASE!"

The shark only got closer and closer and my heart beat was rapidly increasing. I didn't want to die like this..

Just as soon as the shark hit the boat, it suddenly slowed down, hesitated and swam away.

".what..?" I groaned opening my tightly closed eyes. "Why.." I asked no one in particular.

All of a sudden the boat crashed into the white sandy beach of the island. After a moment of being stunned, I got to my feet.

What was that?!

I shivered as my feet hit the cool sandy ground and started walking around to find anything edible or any sign of human colonization.

"Helllooooo?" I yelled to the seemingly empty islands forest.

The chilly soil smushed under my feet. It seemed like it just rained, and the trees and plants dripped with moist dew drops.

That's rare for Arabian forests.. I thought.

It seemed like I walked for miles before I spotted what looked like a smallish log cabin. "Hello?" I yelled and started jogging towards the cabin.

Suddenly, something like a bug bit me. Then another, and another.

I saw bumps like hives forming on my arms and legs. "Wha-? Help!" I screamed over to the log cabin.

The bugs wouldn't stop biting and I felt my vision blacking out and my energy draining.

Suddenly I was kneeling on the ground feeling very dizzy and the last thing I remember is a person with a greenish lantern walking towards me from the cabin.

"Help-" I whispered as I lost vision.

And then I blacked out.
