"Aladdin, come on!" I yelled into the room we had shared.
"I'm going to leave without you."
I was standing by the door, with a gigantic backpack and a new dress on.
We ended up spending the majority of our money, but I didn't mind. We had enough supplies to last us for around a month, and this new dress was extremely comfortable.
It was pink silk with white flower designs on the hem, and I couldn't help but buy it when I saw it in the market.
Well at least I fit into the style now.
"Wait, wait! Don't leave.. !" Aladdin cried from the kitchen.
He came bounding down towards the door and I opened it just in time for him to jump out.
"Hey, slow down!" I giggled.
"Oh, and by the way, I um.. I sent that letter to Natsume last night," I said under my breath.
He either seemed to ignore me or not hear the statement because he moved down the hall admiring the paintings.
"Hmm.. Well ok then."
I had worked for at least an hour last night pouring my heart out onto a piece of parchment expressing my apologies to the prince, and the young king.
I could only imagine how the king took me being 'kidnapped' by a kid.
"Mor, do you think we'll be able to get onto the caravan on time?" Aladdin snapped me out of my concern.
"Oh yeah!" I yelled and started running down the hall, grabbing Aladdin as I went.
We made it just in time as the caravan took off.
"Thank you again, Mr.Yahai, for letting us on your caravan. I cannot express my gratitude." I bowed once again as he shook his head.
"No, not at all Ms. Morgiana. And your cute friend is welcome as well!" He laughed.
Aladdin scooted closer to me and I laughed a sigh.
Suddenly a girl that looked around Aladdin's age walked over to Mr. Yahai.
"Papa, can I play with the boy?" She tugged on his shirt and motioned towards Aladdin.
Aladdin looked cautious as the girl looked him over. He looked up at me and frowned.
"Oh, haha, well my dear, your going to have to ask Ms. Mor and Aladdin yourself for that." He smiled at me and I returned the gesture.
"Okay.." She said solemnly.
"Aladdin.. Do you want to come play with me?"
Aladdin grabbed my arm and pulled. When I thought he wasn't going to respond, I said,
"Aladdin would love to play with you! Right?" I looked down to Aladdin who was glued to my side.
"What?" He yelped quickly looking up at me.
No, I don't Mor! I'm not leaving your side.
He yelled in my head.
I jumped a little but pushed him up towards the girl.
"Be graceful to our hosts!" I whispered forcefully at him.
He shot me a glare but walked towards the girl.
She smiled brightly and hooked onto his arm.
They disappeared behind the carriages drapes and seemingly started playing something the girl made up.
"Sorry about that, he's a little shy.." I told him in apology.
"No, no! I'm glad my little Tabi has found a friend! She's rather shy as well, and well, her other friends stopped playing with her a while ago when they said she was being mean. But I doubt that," Mr. Yahai replied gravely.
I smiled awkwardly and turned to look at the camels pulling the caravan in front of us.
After around a half hour, I drifted off into a half sleep.
I dreamt of nothing in particular, just something about war. I then thought about what king Sif might say to Natsume.
I began to worry.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and it jolted me back to reality.
"Ms.. M-miss Morgiana.." Mr. Yahai said in a frightened voice.
I heard crying and I jumped up as I noticed the caravan had come to a stop.
"What is it..?" I asked quickly.
It wasn't my fault! I heard Aladdin's voice in my head.
It was her! She said your hair was a strange color and made fun of you!
The shackles vibrated in anger and my eyes raced around the carriage for Aladdin and Tabi.
The caravan suddenly exploded with coldness and I was thrown out along with the other occupants of the carriage.
"Ahh!" I yelled as I hit the dessert ground.
Dust went up everywhere as I struggled to open my eyes.
"Alad...din.." I coughed.
When I finally succeeded to open my eyes, I was shocked in fright as I saw icicles falling from the cloudy dark sky.
I heard the people scream as they saw it too, and I rolled onto my stomach in an attempt to protect my front side and face.
"Aladdin, stop!" I cried, scared.
I crouched quietly in silent fear as the rest of the people sobbed in terror. I quietly crawled blindly to a big rock I found through feeling and hid behind it.
The air was as cold as ice itself, but the shackles were warm and overflowing with a consciousness as Aladdin's anger seeped out.
I sat there behind the rock, shivering in fear with my eyes closed until all the other screams of terror died down.
Slowly, I opened my eyes and uncovered my face.
We had been thrown out in absolute darkness of night, in the middle of the desert.
Looking around, I called out.
"Al-Aladdin?"
The dust hurt my eyes, so I crawled against the ground feeling my way. I suddenly felt something freezing and opened my eyes.
I gasped in horror. It was the little girl Tabi, lying in a frightened trance just like Cassim was when Aladdin froze him.
Tears filled my eyes and I quickly crawled backwards, looking away from the terrible scene of the frozen girl.
"No..! Stop it! Stop killing people! They're hearts were pure... not like Cassim's was when you froze him!"
I sobbed into my dusty cold hands. "If anyone's heart is filled with darkness, maybe it's you!"
I gasped at my own words and quickly regretted them. I felt the consciousness in the shackles flicker, and then it disappeared all together.
"Aladdin..? Hey, Aladdin?" I called out to the shackles that sat wordlessly on my wrists.
"Aladdin!" I yelled now, fear consuming my entire being.
Oh no. How could I say that? He's the one who has been helping me throughout my journey to find Saare.. how could I have said that?
"Aladdin.. I'm sorry, you just frightened me that's all. Please come out.."
No response.
I tried the same thing various times, but I got no answer. Not even a sign of acknowledgment.
"Aladdin.." I whispered.
"You said you wouldn't leave me alone.."
But no matter what I tried, I didn't get an answer.
Aladdin seemed to be completely erased from existence.
