Anger

My eyes stung with sleepiness, but I forced them open.

I slowly sat up, wincing as I felt my sore legs. Taking in my surroundings, I saw that I was in a somewhat nice room, sitting up on a bed that had two occupants.

The other one still sound asleep on the bed was my friend, Aladdin. He laid curled towards me, in what really reminded me of a crescent moon.

Smiling, I drew my red hair back and combed my fingers through it, brushing it onto one side on my shoulder.

It was getting long enough to faintly brush along my middle to lower back.

Hmm, I though. I kind of like it longer..

I gently and slowly got up from the bed as I tried not to wake Aladdin.

It was the least I could do, and the least he could do as I walked out of the room looking for someone to tell me where the heck I was.

I wandered down what looked like a standard lodging until I sighted a maid.

"Um, excuse me?" I called over to her as I walked to meet her.

"Yes? What could it be, guest?"

"Um, hi yes. Where am I..? I mean, what city, kingdom....continent?" I asked after giving a moment of consideration.

He was a genie after all..

"Your in Alsmear, ma'am. Anything else?"

I had no idea where that was, but at least I had a name now.

"No, thank you." I said as I turned to go back to the room.

Slowly opening the door to our room, I thought about leaving him.

But I quickly dismissed the thought as I didn't want to be lonely anymore...

I don't want him to be lonely anymore.

And, well I can't exactly remove the shackles.

I entered quietly, upon seeing that Aladdin was still in a deep slumber.

The room thing must have taken a lot of strength and magic... I better let him rest.

"Maybe I'll make him breakfast too!" I quietly giggled at the idea.

He would be so happy!

I backed out of the door and exited the lodge. Wherever Alsmear was, it definitely was not as nice as Baqur.

There was no grass, only cracked dry ground and dessert sand.

I made my way towards the nearest market, and bought what I could with the remaining money I had received from Natsume before I was... taken, by Aladdin.

I returned to the room with a big smile and excitement.

Opening the door, I quietly snuck into the kitchen area that consisted of a table and stools.

I heard a ruffle of blankets and a murmur, but Aladdin slipped back into sleep a moment later so I continued with the preparation of breakfast.

When I was satisfied with the making and presentation of the meal on the table, I tip toed over to the bed.

"Aladdin..." I whisper very quietly. My red hair tickled his nose that was right above the blanket covering his mouth.

"Aladddddin..." I whispered again.

One eye peeked open and he groaned, and moving quickly he reached out and grabbed my neck, pulling me down onto the bed and I got a mouthful of pillow.
