Chapter 39 - Strike!

I don’t know what to do. Once in a while na lang ako nakakapag-UD.. Huhu.. Miss ko na talaga ang cp ko. Sino may binibentang cp jan..? Post lang kayo sa fb page natin..

Grabe malapit na ang pasko tas wala pa akong cp.. Halos mabaliw-baliw na ako sa araw-araw na nagdaan. Pero joke lang.

ALYX’s POV

“Are you okay?” Wow.. parang same line din nung iniisip ko ah.

Tumango na lang ako.

BTW, this is Nathan. Kababata ko. We’ve been friends since I was 5 years old and he’s 7 at that time, I guess. But when I reached 5th Grade they’re family migrated to Australia. He stayed here in Australia for how many years already, maybe 10 or more. He’s been into music same as I do. We share the same interest but time had separated us. But I guess it wasn’t the time separated us coz from time to time he communicated though I seldomly replied from his messages.

“If you still remem—“ I cut him off for him not to continue what he wanted to say..

“No… I’m okay. No need to worry.” I smiled bitterly. I’m confident, he won’t notice it. “Ano ka ba naman! It’s been 5 long years.” I stopped and give him a laugh.

“Sabi mo eh.” Siya naman ngayon ang nag-smile ng mapait. “Sige na. Go up! Good luck. Love you!”

“Sira!! Salamat. Love din kita.” Then I went up stage. Tonight is my night. No matter what, the show must go on.

When I first step on the stage, I heard the crowd screaming, chanting, and a lot more, my name. It’s flattering. I never thought of having my name. My own name!

“This is my newest piece.” I said in front of the crowd.

While I’m playing, I remember the past. I could compare him with the phantom. Mahal daw niya but he still hurt the woman he loved.

“Sana magtagal tayo no?” Ano ba naman iyan. Nagpapahiwatig ba siya? Nabasa ba niya ang iniisip ko? Haay! I dunno how to react. By that, parang gusto ko ding umiyak but I have to be strong for us masyado na siyang maraming iniisip. Kaya ko naman ‘to e. 

Hindi ko nalang siya sinagot bagkus nginitian ko lang siya. Ngiti na alam ko sa sarili kong hindi totoo kasi may mabigat kang dinadala sa puso’t isip mo. Gets niyo?

Nakarating kami ng bahay ng walang kumikibo. Iyong yung una’t huling conversation namin sa loob ng sasakyan.

Ipinark nalang niya ang sasakyan sa loob ng garahean…

“I want to get married.” Biglang sabi niya.

Napanganga naman ako sa gulat. Alam ba niya ang pinagsasabi niya?

“Huwag nganga.. Haha!...” Napahagikhik naman siya.  “Soon we’ll get there but not this time baka patayin ako.” Pagbawi naman niya sa sinabi. Totoo iyon! Mapapatay talaga siya ng kapatid ko.
